Hua Cheng POV:
After hearing the breaths I snapped my head towards the water. I didn't know what to think or say. All I could do was stare in awe.
A beautiful man sat in front me. His hair was long. Longer than my own. He had porcelain skin that hand a pearlescent shine when caught at the right angles. And that face. Those beautiful golden eyes and soft pink lips..
I look farther down and immediately notice the white tail and fin with the golden ring around it. I've never seen someone so beautiful.
Once again I was snapped out of my thoughts after hearing him mutter a few words. "What'd you say? Sorry I couldn't hear you.."Xie Lian POV:
It seemed the man before me wasn't paying much attention. Despite staring right at me. Hearing his voice when confirmed my thoughts was nice. Nice because I knew he wasn't ignoring me or plotting my death.
"I-I said I'm sorry. I'm sorry for bringing you here with me.." The raven haired man just stared at me. A twinkle in his eye. His other is covered. "There's no need for you to be sorry. Are you okay?" I nodded sheepishly as my face flushed a bright pink and some of my loose hair fell over my eyes when I looked down. When I had the courage to look back up, he was looking around the area. "Hey, where are we?" He looked back me. His hair's in a messy braid over his shoulder and his eye once again shines. His smile is captivating and his toned abs shine as the sun reflects off the water. "Hmm.. I don't know either..." He frowned a bit then asked, "Why'd you grab me anyway?" Once again my face went bright red.
"Sorry about that, I panicked. You looked right me. What else could I have done?" He stifled a laugh. It's beautiful. "Sorry if I scared you. What's your name?" I nodded at his apology, acknowledging that I accept it. "I'm Xie Lian. And you?" He paused, hesitating for a second. "Well, Xie Lian, you can call me San Lang." I nodded again, smiling to myself. "That's a wonderful name." He smiled ear to ear at my compliment. "As is yours."
I looked around just as he did before. I really don't know where we are. "Are you alright here on your own for a moment?" He nodded before asking why. "I'm going to look around. I have no idea where we just by looking at land but if I look at my surroundings from down below," I was cut off with San Lang finishing my statement. "You may be able to find a way back. Take as long as you need. It's midday, so I'll work on getting clean water and food here." I nodded with a small smile and slid farther into the water before heading off.
