Another day, another set of matches. It was the norm, really. Wake up, do matches, come back and eat, head out for another match, some time for relaxation... and then back to matches. She was so sick of it.
Ah, she... her name was Allison Smith, the Listener. A female who had been there at the manor for quite a while, and was getting sick of these matches.
She only came to this cursed manor to finally meet her brother again, but alas, it wasn't as simple as that. In her rush of reading the letter, she failed to see the one part.
"You will need to participate in a game of sorts. Should you win, you will have whatever wish you desire granted."
Allison reread the letter time and time again when she was in her new room, she cursed at herself for not even reading it more carefully. But, even if she did, she would've still came. She wanted to see Jason, after all. Just one more time... they didn't even have a proper goodbye. She wanted to see her brother once more. Perhaps, even spend the day with him. If she could.
A knock on her door, signaling it was time for another dreaded match. She grumbled to herself, she just got back, for Christ's sake! And now she had to immediately go back out... ugh. It was whatever at this point, it simply did not matter. With a grumble, she had gotten up, not even bothering to fix her hair, or hide how tired she was. All she did was walk out of her room, with her wolf walking right beside her. The poor thing was just as tired as Allison, after all- Luna had to constantly run back and forth. The wolf barely even got a break.
"I'm sorry, Luna, hopefully you can get an actual break soon..." Allison gently patted her trusty little companion on her head, being met with a happy little bark. One that made Allison chuckle softly as they walked together to the lobby.
Another match... she was bound to go insane. As she sat down, she noticed a survivor- Orpheus, walking over to her. "Just thought I should let you know, this will be the last match for you today. You'll resume matches at 12:00 PM sharp." "Right, right... thank you very much for the information, Orpheus. It is much appreciated." With a little bow, Orpheus had sat down in another seat. Ah, so he was in the same match...
Soon, the other two had finally showed up. The mercenary, and the mechanic. Allison heard faint rustling and shifting behind the curtains, and took it as the Hunter arriving to the lobby. "The hunter is here." She spoke, being met with simple nods. The familiar countdown had started, and everyone, even the hunter, were quick to press their little ready buttons.
Everything went dark, then the sound of cracking glass was heard, along with thunder- Allison was quick to open her eyes and look around, the simple red church map... she was starting to get sick and tired of seeing this place. Though, she supposed she was getting sick with all of the maps- She had seen nearly every single one already. It was getting tiring. Oh well, she'd be done soon enough. She just had to get through this match, and she'd be able to have some much needed relaxation time.
Luna had gone off to find the rest of the survivors locations, whilst Allison went to decode the nearest cipher. The graveyard area... it continuously made her feel nonchalant. It made her think about- Many moments. Not even having a proper goodbye to her brother... or, her mother. Allison couldn't even remain next to the two, she was forced to run away, to seek for some sort of help.
But it was too late, once she got back...
All Allison could do was sob as she held the bodies of her mother and brother, bright blue eyes were wet with tears, her eyes became so puffy, and she screamed- She screamed until her throat went raw. It was... terrible, to say the least. And she still felt that same pain, the grief. It all came rushing back to the woman. She could feel tears brim in her eyes, her throat began to tighten- She couldn't do this...
Then, she heard it... a loud gun shot was heard, and it made the blonde woman scream. Pure horror, sadness, anguish- All of those were mixed together, and the girl immediately fell back onto the gravestone behind her, hugging her knees tightly. She could feel and hear her heart beat, but she didn't care. She'd willingly get sent back to the manor.
"...Ally?"
The girl heard her name get called out, and the voice- It sounded so familiar, and- No... there was no way... she had to been imagining things... but, she looked up, her eyes going wide in absolute shock once she saw who the hunter was.
"J... Jason...?"
Her words came choked out, due to her sobbing, her throat getting tight- But there was no doubt, it was her brother. Blonde hair, eyes that were pitch white- scratches and bruises on his body, and a bloodied hole in his face, and on his forehead. The hole was on his cheek, and you were able to see through it. "Is... it really... you...?"
The blonde male had nodded, and placed his gun away, then kneeled down to his sister. "It is... it's me, Al- I'm here now..." Those words made Allison burst out into tears, her arms flailing in order to hug her brother. She pulled him close, hugged him tightly, and just sobbed. "I c-can't believe it... you're... you're here..." The blonde woman gasped out, trying to calm down from her crying.
"I'm here... and I'm never leaving again."
