Everything was dark, I looked around but there was nothing. Pushing myself off of the ground, I stood up and yelled out into the darkness. "Hello? is anyone here?" I must have passed out and I'm in a dream, that's the only thing that made sense. All of a sudden there were lights in every direction, but they were far away and some were disappearing, then others appeared. I ran towards one of the lights only to be pulled back to my original spot by some force, even as I looked around I couldn't see what was pulling me back. Then a light shined onto me and a voice boomed out from the darkness. "You have been chosen as my avatar of life, it is your duty to bestow life according to my will! Oh you know what, this is boring." A light appeared in-front of me which then turned into what appeared to be another human, she had green hair and she was also a tad bit shorter than I was, She also had a distinct flower in her hair. The person stretched their arm out towards me while smiling, I grabbed their hand and shook it while trying to figure out what the hell is going on. "Nice to meet you, im the goddess of life and you're the person who has become my avatar, from now on you'll have to basically do what I say but don't worry, I'm not one of those super needy deities like lust is, holy macaroni she gives me the creeps." What the hell? I knew dreams could be weird but this take weird to a whole other level, and it also feels way to real to be a dream. "Ok, you've been staring at me like that for quite a while now, I get it you're confused. Let me explain, Basically us deities can't really interact with the world, well we can but it's really complicated, so we give certain people part of our abilities to basically do what we need done on the planet, but since we only pick humans to become our avatars we have to get new avatars every time one dies and because of certain... circumstances, we have to get new avatars now and you're the new avatar of me, life! do you get it?" I nodded while trying to make sense of the situation, "That's good, oh and by the way we don't rule over earth so don't worry about having to hide your abilities from people, you are free to use them there. and one last unofficial thing, when you see deaths avatar tell them to tell her to not forget about next week. Alright that's everything, see you soon."

The beam of light encased me as I rose up into the sky, and then subsequently started falling down from the sky onto a whole new planet below, the trees approached rapidly but as I braced myself for impact something caught me. I lowered my arms and saw that I was on top of a bridge made out of leaves, that must have caught me when I fell. I lifted myself up and climbed down from the treetops before taking in the new landscape, where even was I? A loud rumble immediately drew my attention and I ventured towards the source, A girl about my age was lying on the ground and was out stone cold, I sat down next to her and checked for a pulse to make sure she wasn't hurt, there was a tingle in my fingers and then the girl suddenly sprang back up before jumping back away from me as soon as she noticed me. "Who the hell are you and why are you here?" I put my hands out making sure she could see that I was peaceful and I started walking towards her. "It's alright, I'm the av-" but before I could even finish my sentence she raised her fists and the ground raised up and hit me right in the jaw knocking me backwards, she must also be an avatar, but of which deity? I didn't have much time to think as she started hurtling boulders towards me.

"Leave me alone, just go away before I hurt you!" Narrowly avoiding her boulders, I walked towards her and tried defusing the situation. "It's ok, I'm not trying to hurt you, please stop throwing massive rocks at me." she did stop throwing massive rocks at me, unfortunately for me she instead trapped me in a prison of rock, wonderful. "Who are you and why were you right next to me when I got here?" I sighed before staring into her eyes. "I'm the avatar of the goddess of life, I saw you unconscious so I checked for a pulse and then you woke up and attacked me." After explaining how I got here the girl released me from the prison and apologised. "I'm so sorry, my god told me that everyone would try to attack me here so that's why I thought you were trying to kill me, I'm the avatar of the earth god by the way, though you could probably tell." Well that was kinda obvious, thank the heavens she was willing to listen or I would have been toast, I haven't even figured out my abilities yet. "It's alright, I probably startled you a bit while trying to make sure you weren't dead. Hey, why don't both of us travel and try to find more of the avatars so we can figure out exactly what we're supposed to do? After she looked around for a while, presumably to see if there was any other option, she agreed. "Yeah sure, I don't think I'd be able to take on this world alone and I didn't really know that many people back home so it would be nice to have someone to talk to."
