DAWN'S POV:
It was the next morning and our birthday! It's weird our first birthday without mom & dad. I just now thought about that. We will be 11 and it'll be different.
I went downstairs and saw my sister and my adoptive parents sitting at the table.
Katherine: Morning birthday girl! Sleep well.
Dawn: yeah.
I went over to my mom and hugged her then my sister.
Meg: Happy Birthday Little Sis!
(And I hugged her.).
Dawn: Thx.
Meg: Where are the boys?
Dawn: sleeping I think.
Meg: Oh. Still wow. I'm gonna go check on them.
Katherine: Okay. Breakfast will be ready soon. You'll be late for school if you don't hurry.
Meg: Okay. School doesn't start till 10:15am.
(Meg went upstairs.)
(Knock knock).
Ricky: Come in.
Meg: Hey Dawn told me you guys were asleep
Dicky: We just woke up.
Meg: oh. Happy Birthday Boys!
Meg hugs them
Nicky: Thx Meg.
Meg: come on let's get you guys to school. Or you'll be late.
I came upstairs and hugged my brothers and told them happy birthday and they told me happy birthday and then Katherine drove us to school.
