" 𝗗𝗮𝗺𝗻 𝗜'𝗺 𝗵𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝘀 𝗳𝘂𝗰𝗸 " I whispered to myself trying not to wake up Kehlani

It was currently 3 in the morning and I was wide awake, can not get a wink of sleep and it's all because I'm starving, I had an early dinner today, I was not expecting me to be up this late and for my hunger to kick in again

I try to get up as quiet as possible so I don't wake Kehlani up, thankfully I successfully did it, I make my way to the kitchen quietly and look at what we have in the pantry

" 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲'𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗶- 𝙤𝙪𝙪 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗶𝘀 "I grab the chips and try opening them " 𝘄𝗵𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝗰𝗸 𝗱𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝘀𝗼 𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗱? " with every noise the bag makes I squeeze my eyes shut as if that's gonna help at all

" 𝗕𝗮𝗯𝘆 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴? " I jumped at her voice " 𝗗𝗮𝗺𝗻 𝗞𝗲𝗵𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗶, 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗱𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁, 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗜'𝗺 𝗵𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗿𝘆 𝘀𝗼 𝗜'𝗺 𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 " I said putting multiple takis in my mouth

" 𝙊𝙪𝙪𝙪 𝗴𝗶𝗺𝗺𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 "

" 𝙒𝙝𝙖- 𝗻𝗼 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝘄𝗻 "I said slapping her hand away

" 𝗗𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝗿𝘂𝗱𝗲, 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 " she responds

" 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗜 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 " I walk to the couch and turn on the tv still wide awake so might as well watch something

Kehlani walks to the couch and sits next to me

" 𝗔𝗿𝗲𝗻'𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗹𝗲𝗲𝗽𝘆 𝗟𝘂𝘃? " I ask

" 𝗡𝗼, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆, 𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻'𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂? "

" 𝗡𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻'𝘁 𝘀𝗹𝗲𝗲𝗽 " I play a movie on Netflix and start watching it, A few times I glance at Kehlani and see she's staring at my chips

" 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝗯𝘆, 𝗜'𝗹𝗹 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 " she opens her mouth for me to feed her like a big baby

A little while later after finishing my chips and halfway through the movie I can feel my eyes getting heavier, I look to tell kehlani that we should go to sleep but she was already fast asleep with her head on my shoulders

Not being able to fight it anymore I get comfortable being careful not to wake her up and get some rest feeling satisfied and fed
