Soft snores fill the air of the bedroom as Jay emerges from the ensuite, dressed in a white marbled leggings and sports bra two piece. Smiling at Nate's sleeping form cuddling one of his pillows, Jay returns pyjamas to the duffle bag beside the arm chair and collects her bluetooth headphones.
Swiping the tails of her double dutch braids onto her back, Jay slips her headphones over her ears before looking to the bed as a soft sneeze interrupts Nate's snores. Smiling at the Umbra sitting on the foot of the bed, Jay grabs the wide paracord collar form the back of the chair and clips it around the K-9's neck; connecting her headphones to her watch and starting her 'Motivation' playlist the pair head out for their routine sunrise run.

Returning to the lake house through the side door, Jay pulls her headphones down to her neck while witnessing her father smacking Rob with something grey and extremely unappetising.
"Morning." Roxanne greets coming down the stairs in a black 1/2 length sleeved dress and heels. "Honey, how is the birdy?"
"Ohh la, la."
"Those are the Christian Louboutin shoes." Sally gushes.
"I know, I'm overdressed." Roxanne dismisses walking to sit at the kitchen island, while Jay heads towards the staircase and Umbra finishes emptying his water bowl. "But, sorry, I packed for Milan, not the lake."
"How was your run, Jay?" Lenny asks his eldest, ignoring his wife's comment and instead turning attention to the sweat glowing teen.
"Better scenery than Beverly Hills." Jay admits turning to face the main living area.
"What time did you get up? I didn't see you leave." Deanne says knowing Nate is still passed out.
"My body clock wakes me up at four. I did a few stretches and a warm up for about half an hour, out front, before I started my run." Jay explains, smiling at the shock on Deanne and Sally's faces.
"You've been awake for three and a half hours? Running for three of those." Sally questions, staring at the girl wide eyed.
"It's my daily routine. Plus, it's easier with 'scary' dog as companion."
Bidding a brief goodbye to the adults, Jay heads back towards the room she is sharing with Nate and Umbra, quickly plucks her toiletry pack from her duffle bag and drops of her powered off headphones before handing into the ensuite; Smiling at Nate after he sits up and rubs the sleep from his eyes.

Dressed in black ripped jean shorts, a criss-cross backed non-sleeve bodysuit and studded black hi-tops, Jay walks out onto the front porch to see her dad sat at a table; grilling bacon on the moth zapper.
"Can I have some?" Jay asks going her father in the far right corner, a smile playing on her lips with Umbra at her side.
"You don't want any dehydrated banana? or ocean pancakes?" Lenny teases his daughter with a wide grin on his face.
"I'd rather eat U's food." Jay responds placing down the metal dog dish in her hand, prior to giving Umbra his release command to eat.
"What's he got today?"
"Beef and cow liver cubes, turkey neck, salmon and coconut oil, finely chopped spinach and pumpkin purée."
"Dog eats better than us." Lenny says before turning his attention away from his daughter, to his ridiculously dressed son. "Greg. What are you doing dressed like that? You hanging out with Jiminy Cricket?"
