Torn Apart

Marinette ran through the city, trying to get home.
When she got home, her long dark hair was soaked.
She ran into her room and tore down all her pictures of Adrien as she cried.
She couldn't take the pain anymore.
She completely messed up.
Maybe if someone else was ladybug, this wouldn't have happened.
Maybe if she hadn't been so in love with Adrien, she would've been able to stop this from happening.

She sobbed as he mother walked in.
"Mari, what's wrong?" Sabine asked.
"I screwed up mom! I made a mistake and now everyone I know is paying for it! I can't face anyone I know anymore because of it and I'll never be able to fix it!" She cried.
"What happened?" Sabine replied.
Marinette looked at her mother with red eyes.
"I- Im ladybug" she said silently.
Sabine gasped.
Marinette cried as she hugged her mother.
Tom walked in at the same time.

After explaining everything, Marinette went back to her room.
She opened her phone and searched for any information on Felix.
She found his business number.
She dialed the number with shaking hands before putting it up to her ear.

"Hello? This is Amelie Graham De Vanily, can I help you?" Amelie said.
"Y-Yes I'm looking for Felix?" Marinette replied.
"My son Felix?" Amelie asked.
"Y-Yes. Adrien Agrestes c-cousin?" Marinette replied.
"Oh! Okay! Lemme give you his number. Are you one of his friends from school?" Amelie said.
"Well, kinda. I'm friends with Adrien, but I've met him before" Marinette replied.
"Alright!" Amelie said.

Marinette quickly wrote down Felix's number.

She held the sticky note in her hand and sighed.
Maybe she'd be able to figure it out?
Maybe he'd listen to her?
She dialed the number and held it to her ear.
She groaned when it went to voicemail.

Meanwhile, Felix was sitting in his apartment
"Felix, the phone is ringing!" Dussu said.
"It's not my mom. I don't think I need to answer" Felix replied, looking at the number.

A few minutes later the number called again.
"It's the same number. Maybe it's important?" Dussu said.
Felix groaned and got off his couch.
He then picked up the phone.
"Hello?" He said into the phone.
"U-Uh h-hi its M-Marinette. A-Adrien's friend?" Marinette replied.
Felix's face turned pale. How did she even find him?
"What do you want miss Dupain-Cheng? I don't have all day. Plus no one is supposed to know that I'm still in Paris except my mother" Felix replied.
"I-I called your mom to ask where you were because I need to talk to you" Marinette said.
Felix was suspicious. He decided to just hang up.

Marinette groaned angrily when he hung up.
"I'm doomed" she said
