yui was walking down the hallways of the night school she saw that the library door was open so she peeped her head inside before walking in, recently she's heard rumours that some never seen before faces (to her) have been around the school but other people say that they have been off due to "political business" at the leaders companies.
She doesn't understand why she's been the chosen one but she's doing her very best to survive these two families. as she entered the library a group containing boys and girls were talking "if those guys are back does that mean she'll be back?""i heard one of them say she still has some business to finish, after all she is the next heir of the company" a boy responded to the first persons question "but if she is, do you think she'll be the president still?""considering her grades and academic skills i don't know who would stop her from doing such a thing". Yui was confused on who they were talking about but she didn't ask them "lillia Kibutsuji" a voice spoke near her which made her jump "is she back already? I thought she'd still be cooped up in that old building".
"She's the daughter of a second ranking company and the next heir of the building. but sadly rumour has it that her father had caught a serious illness and he hasn't been able to work" laito said in a more serious tone "people have also said that she and those followers of hers haven't been at school for almost an entire year now" ayato was about to storm over to him when another group walked past them and up to the limo, it was a group of 1st years in that group were three males and two males. Then another group walked past that group was the same as the other group but had one extra male "who's that guy?""His name is Kaigaku Inadama, he works for that Kibutsuji girl, surprisingly his academic skills are almost the same as that girl's. and those first group are first years, two of them are siblings while the other three aren't" Reiji explained to the confused yui "but why is ayato mad?""mr kaigaku had beaten ayato in a game of basketball which ayato challenged him to begin with".
in the first limo the two groups were making their way to a mansion, and like the sakamaki siblings the ride the the mansion was quiet. When the limo stopped in front of a mansion the group of first years left the limo leaving the second group in the limo heading to another place. The limo headed through the crowded roads of the city only to end up in front of a large,tall building. They exited the limo and entered the building, they made their way to the lift as it stopped at the final floor, as they did they could feel the intense stare off the person they were going to meet.
"my lady, we're here just as you asked us to" a deep voice spoke before the person at the desk spoke "now that you're all back there those knockoffs are getting angry at that. if i'm not mistaken?""yes that's true but they're waiting for your return" that same voice spoke "the humans are also asking if you'll still be the president considering your academic skills and grades are just as they always are".
"i hope you all remember this, you're my most trusted and highest ranking demons, the fact that you still serve me in His place still makes me wonder if i should have left you all all alone in the infinity fortress" they said before standing up "it's not your fault my lady, you got bored of being a demon and wanted to do something different but you couldn't right away. the smell of humans drives anyone mad with despair to the point they can't take it any longer"
the woman in front of them had long black hair that had almost hit the floor if it wasn't tied up, her vivid red eyes were almost like the colour of freshly bloomed roses, her clothes were similar to their old master's clothes in a way, her clothes were black dress shirt with a white tie with a grey vest on top, over that was a grey blazer that was done up, she also wore a black skirt that had a light grey line along the bottom of it. she wore dark grey tights and had heels on with a strap at the front, in her hair was a red decorative spider lily keeping it up in place. "let the people of this company know that the old man is dead""you didn't kill him without us now did you my lady?".
"sadly i did douma, although if you were there i wouldn't have had any fun" she replied before sitting down again. "i'll be back in that school tomorrow and maybe i'll piss them off then you all have in a night" she said with a chuckle "you can all go now, i'll be back at the manor when i've finished this paperwork" the woman stated before looking at the paper in front of her, she lifted her hand as a way to dismiss them all.
"why not leave this work and finish it in the morning, big sister you need a break" she stated while gyutaro agreed by nodding "daki, did any of those knockoffs say anything about me that i should know about?" she asked the woman but gyutaro spoke instead "big sister, i have a feeling, they don't want you to return"
"I wonder where big sister is, I can't find her anywhere in the infinity fortress" Daki spoke as she landed on top of a stair railing. "Why do you call her big sister? If you remember she left you two centuries ago" akaza said folding his arms "shut it! She didn't leave entirely, even if she was with the slayers" daki said as she glared at the demon in front of her.
Then gyutaro came to them all as he was catching his breath "big brother?" daki questioned "big sister has found a way to survive in the sun!" he exclaimed as everyone else was shocked. Nakime strung her biwa sending them to her, there they saw her standing in a garden that surrounds the fortress with the sun fully out. they were astonished that there was no smoke flying in the air from her body "i've finally done it...""finally done what my lady?" kokushibu askes "i found a way to survive in the daylight. he only did in that battle but i've found a permanent way" she said before turning her head "does that mean--""it means we can survive in the day and not just night""we could till survive in the day" akaza grumbled still angry with the woman in front of him.
"I know you're mad with me akaza but now that the people i once knew have now died, and i know you don't need my sympathy but the reason why i've brought you all back is private. However, back to your recent comment, yes we could survive in the day but only in large amounts of shade, however with this new discovery we can survive both day and night without burning". She stated as she turned around
With the sakamaki siblings and yui, she couldn’t understand who this kibutsuji girl was or why it seemed like they all hated her. She was in her room sitting on the edge of her bed facing the balcony, she couldn’t put her finger on it but she had a feeling that the students from before were just like the brothers and the mukami siblings but different. She figured that Reiji would complain if she fell asleep at the school so she got out of her uniform and got into her night-gown before heading to bed.
Lui was now in her room sitting on the floor in front of her footboard of her bed. Her towel was wrapped loosely as her hair was damp and hitting the floor. She was on the phone even though she was supposed to be sleeping “are you sure you’ll still be willing to be president?”“I'm positive, if it's fine I'd like to start the day after tomorrow, I still have work to finish from the previous boss”“that doesn’t seem to be a problem. I look forward to seeing you the day after tomorrow”“arigato, sayonara” she said before the line ended.
'its unreal how humans can believe such a gullible lie like that' she thought before tilting her head to the window 'that light used to burn us demons before but it no longer does, and it was without the blue spider-lily' she thought before she sighed again and stood up from the floor, "looks like I'll be working late, again"
"I'll try and sleep at work. If not then I just grab some meat to eat"

this is just a preview of the first chapter as its still not finished. about two people requested for me to update this book and now i have(not a chapter but close to it). thank you for reading it so far, a reason why i havent updated in a while was because 1:i came up with other story ideas and 2)i have upcoming exams in a few weeks so updates will be slower than before.
