The two of them exited the door of the club as the taxi that Jean-Luc and Mélanie was traveling in left the location. Paris was chilly in the early hours of the morning, making Ava realized how stuffy it was in the club. There was only one taxi left waiting by the side of the road.
“Eh, how about we just take a taxi?” Ava asked, “My apartment isn’t too far from here, and it’s still in the same direction as your hotel. I’ll get off at my place, then you continue your journey.”
“Good idea,” Erick replied, “and I made sure you got home safely!”
Ava just snorted, smirking.
Erick then took Ava to the taxi.

The taxi leaves the club. Ava closed her eyes and leaned her head, which felt a little floaty, on Erick’s shoulder.
A few moments later, Erick heard clearing his throat clearing his throat. “Av,” Erick called.
“Hmmm?” Ava muttered.
“Voulez-vous coucher avec moi ce soir?”
Ava’s eyes opened. She straightened up and looked at the man while frowning and snorting. “That sentence sounds weird, even disrespectful, to a French, you know!” she shouted.
“Oh, really?” asked Eric, “why?”
“Because ‘vous’ is a greeting for someone you just met, and you wouldn’t ask someone you just met to sleep with you! Those words can only sound natural if you talk to commercial sex workers!” blurted Ava with bulging eyes.
“Oh, so what’s the more appropriate way of saying it?” asked Eric.
Ava thought for a moment. “Tu as envie de coucher avec moi ce soir? It sounds more natural,” she said later, “you use ‘Tu’, a more familiar greeting, and ‘envie’ adds a sense of passion to the sentence.”
Eric smirked.
“More precisely, if you are already familiar with that person, is J’ai très envie de faire l’amour Avec toi?” Ava added. His voice softened. “It means ‘I really want to make love to you’.”
“Oui,” said Erick with a smile, “yes, me too.”
Ava was silent, staring at the face of the man sitting next to her in astonishment. An instant later, an understanding caused her laughter to explode, and her face felt hot. “Hey! It’s not fair!” she said between laughs, “why now I’m the one who ask you to!”
The taxi stopped. Ava’s laughter died down. From the car window she saw they had arrived at the apartment. She opened the vehicle door, then turned to Erick. “So?” she asked with a crooked smile.
“Yes?” asked Eric.
Ava’s smile faded. “You have set me up to invite you!” she shouted. “Tu veux coucher avec moi? If you don’t want to, that’s fine!” she said as he walked out.
Erick hastily paid the taxi fare, went out the side door, then rushed after Ava who was standing at the door of the apartment lobby.
Ava stood in front of the door, slowly looking for the keys in her handbag. When she heard the taxi left, she took out the magnetic card, holding it close to the lock. When Erick’s footsteps were heard approaching, Ava held the doorknob, waiting quietly for the man.
Erick arrived at Ava’s side, then turned to the girl. Their gazes met. A faint smile appeared and disappeared on Ava’s face.
Silently, Ava pushed open the door, entered the apartment building, and headed for the elevator. Erick followed a step behind. Silently, they waited for the elevator doors to open, then stepped inside together.
Ava cleared her throat lightly. “How’s your hotel room?” she asked the elevator door, “You’ll lost one night, won’t you?”
Eric shrugged. “Ah, it’s okay, just one night, really.”
Ava turned to Eric. “I had a feeling earlier that I would regret this decision,” she said, “but you’re right, it’s only for tonight.”
Erick watched every movement of Ava’s lips as the girl spoke. Bright red, inviting. Without speaking, Erick grabbed Ava and crushed her. Her actions deserved Ava’s recompense.
The elevator doors opened, but the two of them kept biting each other. Ava just pushed Erick away when the door closed again. Blushing, she opened the elevator door again, walked towards the apartment unit she was in, opened the door, turned on the light, then entered, letting Erick follow her lead.
Erick looked around, saw some photos and certificates hanging on the wall. His gaze was fixed on one of the photos. “Are you a cop?” he asked
“Yes,” the girl replied as she continued to walk into the bedroom and unbuttoned her shirt, “a cybercrime detective.”
Ava threw her shirt on the floor, grabbed the doorknob, then turned to Erick who was looking deeply. “Why? Afraid that I’ll catch you?” Ava said with a sweet smile.
Erick’s chest thumped when he saw the detective standing in front of the bedroom door without a single thread covering his upper body. Without speaking, Erick rushed to Ava while taking off his shirt. He then bumped the cyber detective into the room, then kept pushing until the girl fell on her back on the bed. Erick immediately pressed it and then again bit the lips whose lipstick had faded.
Ava pushed Erick’s body until Erick stood up. She used that opportunity to take off the mini skirt she was still wearing. Seeing what Ava was doing, Erick immediately took off his pants and then pressed back against the Asian and European mixed woman.
Ava’s two hands held Erick’s chest, stopping the movement of the man who was about to kiss him again. “Just for the night, this, Rick. Okay?” whispered Ava.
“We’ll see, Av,” Erick whispered back.
Ava’s eyes moved wildly, taking turns looking at the eyes of the man who was an inch above her face. “I still feel like I’m going to regret my decision tonight,” she said with quivering lips.
Erick just smiled, stroking one of Ava’s arms.
Slowly, a smile appeared on Ava’s trembling lips. The girl let go of the support of her hand against Erick’s chest. Instead, Ava now grabbed the back of the man’s neck, pulling his face closer. Before Erick could kiss her, Ava had crushed the pair of lips that had never left her mind since last week.
