The day after Valentines...

Jane is standing at the corridor waiting for their teacher to come.

She is just alone, standing there looking at everybody.

The thing that happened yesterday keeps on repeating in her mind.

Until...

"Hey." Mark called.

"What do you need?" Jane asked lazily.

"I am sorry."

"For what Mark?"

"I know it felt a little weird yesterday when I said 'I love you.... as my bestfriend' I should have just said 'I love you too' in a manner."

Jane thought it for awhile. He has a point, but why hasn't he done it?

Jane grabbed his hand and pulled him to the fire exit stairs.

"You know, if you have just a little bit of feeling tell it." Jane said.

"I like you. I love you." Mark said.

"I know this is awkward but I feel the same. I always ask myself if you feel the way I do. But I just kept positive everytime, praying that you would love me or just even notice me, or whatever," Jane explained.

"But,"

"No buts, the best part of my life falling apart now. Broken friendship is next to this Mark! Can't you understand?"

"I understand you, and please let me explai-"

"We are just both hurt. Broken. Filled with regret."

"There are no regrets!"

"Don't shout on me. I think I'll just give up. I'll just keep distance from you, that is all we need now. I don't know for how long I can keep this up, you and me, our friendship."

Jane walks away crying, after expalining everything she feels that time for Mark. Mark can't say a thing so he would just listen. Mark follows her.

"I love you." Mark said thoughtfully, loudly. Everybody heard it.

"I-I love you too." Jane said softly between sobs.

End.
