That morning wasn't the best. I woke up with Duncan, pressed up against me, not remembering anything from the night before, or at least after our tickle session on the couch. I was alone in the guest room, thank god. I grabbed my phone, 6:05. I got out of bed and got dressed, a Van Halen t shirt, jeans, hoop earrings, and my brown army boots. I walked into the bathroom with my doc kit.

I began to brush my teeth when a knock on the door.

"Who is it?" I say through my toothpaste mouth. I quickly spit it out.
"It's me Gwen." Replied Duncan, of course.
"Come in." I respond and he opens the door. He's shirtless, of course, and smirks at me. He brushes his teeth as well, then I rinse with water, he pulls me into his grasp. I spit out my water, and turn around to find this new tattoo on his chest. I squinted and read it.

"Never throughout history has a man who lived a life of ease, left a name worth remembering. -Theodore Roosevelt." The quote was so Duncan. He always lived life to the edge, wanting to go down in history.

"When did you get that?" I ask and he shrugs.

"Probably when I was with Geoff." He responds and it gets awkward, really fast.

"So...do you remember last night?" I ask out of the blue and he raises a brow.

"Pretty much yea, I mean we just cuddled." He said and it gets quiet between us. I look away and he lets go of me. I brushed my hair and head out of the bathroom, packing my stuff for school.

Once Duncan and I are finished, we head to his truck, and off to the wonders of our lovely high school.
