Honestly I could care less about the war of 1812. My mind was all on if the rumors were true. Soon this little piece of paper was handed to me by Geoff. I opened it.
"Have you heard the rumors that they've spread about us? -Duncan"
I write back yes and how people (I won't mention the spawn of satan's name) claimed that Duncan himself started them. I fold the piece of paper back up and pass it to Geoff. I take some notes in my history notebook and Geoff pokes me and hands me the paper.
"I didn't Pasty, that's just how Heather and her posse are."
I don't respond and just shove the paper in my pocket. I just need a break from all this drama. Why can't things be simple like when we were in middle school?
I hate growing up.
Suddenly the bell rings and history class is over. Now it's lunch time, the time of day where all the types get together and spin the latest or hottest gossip each other group has to offer. It's an unhealthy system for sure, but it keeps everyone in their toes.
I walk to my locker and shove my stuff in my locker. I slam the door shut and walk off, catching up with Leshawna and Bridgette.
