A knock was heard on the door.

And the rain was pouring down heavily,
A boy with permed hair answered the door..

And there, there was a boy drenched in rain gasping for air, "um.. I'm sorry for not texting you. Um.. i just wanted to talk to you in person." The drenched boy spoke.

"Okay.." the permed boy mumbled.

4. 𝑆𝑒𝑐𝑟𝑒𝑡𝑠

•Y/N's POV:•
I was in a heavy sleep as I laid lazily in my bed, I was lightly snoring until I woke up to a hard smack on the face, I shot up and staring at the culprit who had done it, it my non-other than my dad, "wh-what was that for?!" I asked, "me and your mum has called you to get up 10 times now and your still lazing about! Get up!" He shouted and left me room, "Jesus fucking Christ." I swore as I held my stinging cheek, "I suppose that was revenge for me accidentally kicking him yesterday." I spoke to myself, I heard a loud clashing on my window and moved my curtain with my hand, the whiteness of the clouds blinded me as I immediately moved my hand away and the curtains closed. But I soon realised it was raining.
I got up from bed and got dressed before going downstairs and into the kitchen, "moorrnnnniinnnggg." I moaned as I grabbed the cereal box from the cupboard and placed it on the table, "morning sleepyhead. What on earth was you dreaming about to ignore me calling you?" Mum asked, "I was dreaming about food and hanging out with my friends while bathing in my favourite drink." I smiled, remembering the dream which was oddly.. normal for once.
"That's not a good enough dream to have excused your mothers pleads." My mum said jokingly, "haha, mum! I can't control it." I chuckled, "well try." She smiled and walked off, I rolled my eyes and continued on with my breakfast.

After that I did some revision and spelling before going on my phone.
But I had a feeling something happened, so I messaged Charlie as he was the first person to pop in my mind.

•Charlie's POV:•
The bell rang as I walked towards my form room, a smug smile planted on my face the whole way there.
Once I got there I walked in, I saw Nick and Y/N talking to each other while Nick was smiling and laughing.
I put my bag down and Nick turned to me, "you told them?" He chuckled nervously, "did you tell anyone else?" He asked, "no just Y/N." I answered.
"Anyway hi." I smiled "hi." Nick answered and we all began to chat again.

•No Ones POV:•
After school Charlie did some more practice in Rugby, he found out that he needed to concentrate more in throwing himself onto the player instead of just dodging them, he kept trying and trying again with a pillow like cylinder made of a soft plastic.

—next day—

•Y/N's POV:•
"I bet Charlie's eating lunch with Nick again." Tao said as I grabbed a chocolate bar and stuffed it in my mouth, "he's been eating lunch with him a lot." Tao complained, "well, they're in the honeymoon phase." Issac said putting down his book, "now that's what I want to hear." I smiled, "what? It's not even like they're dating." Tao cringed, I turned away with a small whistle, Issac took a glance at me and smiled, "unless they are." Issac replied, I get like I was missing something so I pulled out my planner and opened it up on todays date, "ah! Look I've gotta go! I have a meeting with Mel." I smiled, "Mel? Why do you need to go to Mel?" Tao asked, "nothing that concerns your little head, cya!" I waved and ran off towards Mei's office.

•Tao's POV:•
I watched Y/N leave before turning back to Issac, "isn't Mel a mental health ambassador? There's nothing wrong." I mumbled, "you never know. They don't tell us everything you know." Issac answered as I hummed, I heard loud laughter and turned to see that the rugby team was about to pass our table, "I mean.. look at them. It's a bad idea to even walk near them, let alone actually befriend one of them." I pointed out as Issac turned to glance at the Rugby group, "Charlie's putting himself in danger just because he has a little unrequited crush." I stated, until I heard a loud "oi catch!" From hart but before I could react a Rugby ball hit my face and bounced off, I winced and held my eye, "sorry mate." Harry said sarcastically. I got up and grabbed the ball, "you okay?" Nick asked, "yes." I answered plainly, "can I have the ball back?" Nick asked, I put it out towards him for him to take but once he was about to take it I pulled it away, "no. It's mine now." I said, Nick looked around nervously before turning back towards his group, I then threw it at his head as his group 'oooh' ed. He flinched and paused, turning around and picking up the ball before walking back towards his group.

•Y/N's POV:•
We walked in a group as Elle hugged Charlie, Charlie was going to have his first rugby game, and we were here to support him. Elle ended up meeting new friends called Darcy and Tara.
Once we finished talked we went to the side and walked from there, until full on grown men came jogging out. "Um.. I'm the supportive kind of friend and all of that.. but.. I don't think Charlie will last this one." I mumbled as Tao hummed in agreement next to me. "So does anyone remember the rules of rugby 'cause... I don't." Tao asked looking around the small group, "no." Everyone replied with.
Players were being rough with tackling each other down until it began to rain, "anyone got a spare umbrella..." I asked, not having one on me, "you can use mine. I'll share with Darcy." Tara said pulling hers out towards me, "cheers." I nodded and opened the umbrella, putting it over my head. St. John's was winning.. while Charlie's group won. non.

Charlie was about to tackle someone and I clenched my fists in anticipation onto the the St. John player to technically just.. nudge him over while Charlie fell to the floor. I gasped and stared at Charlie laying on the floor, "should I help him.." I asked myself, my mind being filled my clouds of different idea's and predictions on what I should and shouldn't do at the same time.
Charlie was helped up and taken to medical.

He only had a bloody nose thank god.

"I've gotta head home.. See you all later." I said closing the umbrella and giving it back to Tara and then walked off inside and then through the building and then walking back home.

I'm too tired..
