⚣ 5. Friend ⚣

(Part 1)

•Y/N's POV:•
It was a sleepover night round at Charlie's and it was suuuper fun, right now we are playing monopoly, well I was playing monopoly. I ended up losing along with Elle and Issac, Issac was waiting for the game to end lazily on the mattress on the floor while I laid across Charlie's bed beginning to drift off as Charlie and Tao began to bicker at each other on who won.
Until I heard a loud jingle sound and turned my head lazily at the noise from the bottom of the bed, Issac ended knocking the whole game down with his foot. "Oooh, whoops." Issac said sarcastically. "Draw?" Cherry asked, "Draw." Tao sighed. I turned my head back in its original position and closed my eyes, "Thank. God." Elle said, everything fell silent until I heard a whisper, "has Y/N fell asleep?" Elle whispered, I felt 4 eyes peer at me, "seems like it. Let's keep it down." Tao whispered, "or maybe we could just go to sleep." Elle whispered back. I opened my eyes, irritated that they keep talking as soon as I drift off.

•Tao's POV:•
Charlie and Issac went downstairs to get some food and drinks before watching the movie, while Y/N was passed out on the bed me and Elle talked, "There's never a good time to tell someone their crush is going on a date with someone else. And I just don't like nick, I've seen him with those nasty year 11's at the school gate, if they say anything mean to Charlie.... I'm going to crush them." I squeezed my hand into a fist as Elle snickered, "crush them?" Ella asked, "verbally." I added, "doesn't sound like the safest tactic." Ella nodded towards me, "well, I don't like playing safe." I straightened my back and put my nose up jokingly making Elle chuckle, "crisp?" I offered, which Elle happily took and ate, "let's tell him when he gets back." I said, Elle rolled her eyes, "fine. If it'll make you stop talking about it." Ella smirked, "I just think that Nic-" I was cut off "Tao!" Elle shouted, "what?" I asked, "can we please talk about something else?" Elle asked, "oh? Am I not being entertaining enough for you?" I asked pretending to be offended. "No, you're not! Your being annoying." Elle nodded, "oh! I'm sorry. What would you like instead? Should I perhaps perform a piece of interpretive dance?" I asked slowly, shaking my shoulders as I put down the crisp bowl, "would that be less annoying?" I asked, "that wasn't exactly what I had in mind. Elle mentioned, "too late, you've said it now." I said jumping off the bed and began to dance dramatically.

•Y/N's POV:•
These two are dimwits, I've been awake since Elle shouted 'Tao' and now I'm watching the two arguing over Tao's silly dance, "oh my god what am I witnessing." I sighed as Tao and Elle looked at me, "oh! Uh- how long have you been awake Y/N?" Tao asked hesitatingly, "long enough to know you love dancing." I sat up and rubbed my eyes, I heard Tao and Elle sigh in relief as I looked at both of them questionably.
Soon Charlie and Issac came in holding drinks and some snacks, they handed us our drinks as i took a sniff above my cup, hot chocolate with whipped cream, lovely~ Charlie sat down on the mattress with pillows on it, "so, I was thinking of inviting Nick to my birthday thing on Saturday. I really want him to come, but I don't want it to be awkward or weird for any of you since you don't really know him." Charlie looked back and forth between everyone, "no it wouldn't be awkward." Elle said, "yeah! It'll be fine!" I smiled, "I assumed he was coming anyway." Issac smiled, "okay. Good." Charlie lastly said, we watched movies and chatted all night long.

5. 𝐹𝑟𝑖𝑒𝑛𝑑

•No Ones POV:•
It was early morning and students were crowding the school field, gathered up in their friend groups before they had to separate into their forms, Nick and his friends were found in the one spot they never leave, the wooden bench table.
"Imogen." Nick started before taking a hesitant swallow, "about our date.. see, I wasn't sure if.." Nick cut himself off once he saw Imogen sniffing while looking down at her phone, "are you okay?" Nick asked, Imogen looked up "my dog died last night." She frowned before looking back down at her phone, "Um... I'm so sorry." Nick shook his head, Imogen moved her phone in front of Nick to show him what she was staring at, it was in fact her recently diseased dog, "he was really old so, like, we knew it was coming. I loved him so much." Imogen gasped as her nose was blocked from crying, "this is the worst week ever." Imogen closed her eyes so stop the tears from falling out, "yeah." Nick mumbled, "what were you going to say about our date?" Imogen asked, Nick shook his head repeatedly, figuring out whether to tell her or not that he wants to date to not go on. But decided against it since she has been through a hard time as it was, "nothing." Nick only said, "so, shall we meet at Nando's for dinner and then we could go to the cinema?" Imogen asked, her whole mood changing into a happy go lucky one, "yeah. Okay." Nick agreed with a small smile.
