To say the least, these last few years of my life have been a total shit show.

Harper pov:
"Harper!!! Come on we're gonna be late!"
"I know, I know! Gimme a minute I'm still saying goodbye to my parents!" I shout back
"And you promise it's only a gap year and right after this you will come back and go to college ¿Sí?" My mom says holding my cheek lovingly.
"Yes mom, I promise, ok, now I have to go!" I say annoyed by her asking me this for the 100th time in the past 10 minutes.
"Alright dear, let her be now." Dad says stepping up for me while I mouth a silent thanks.
"Te amo mi niña, be safe." He says kidding the top of my head.
"I will! Love you both, I'll call you every week!" I say as I wave at them and run out the door where Mia, Isabella, and Avery are all already waiting for me in the cab.
"Jesus took you long enough girl!"
"Tell me about it!"
"Did you leave the country and come back without us already?"
They all burst out into giggles as I get in after teasing me.
"Haha, very funny you guys." I sarcastically comment as I roll my eyes.
"Shut up, you know you love us" Isabella says from the middle seat on my left.
"Where to girls?" The cab driver asks as he adjusts his mirror.
"One last ice cream?" I suggest and everyone else is quick to agree.
Avery speaks up in the passenger seat and tells the man to take us to our favorite ice cream shop, Soft Delights. The cab driver nods in acknowledgement and begins to drive as we talk about what we want to do first once we get to Mexico since that's first on our list. Mia wants to go taco tasting being the food addict she is, not that I really have room to speak. Isabella wants to go to a beach and "Swim with the turtles" I believe her words were. Now Avery wants to hunt down a festival to go to because she heard those are really fun there. Since I'm the only one who hasn't said anything yet since literally nobody would let me they all turn to me to make the final decision. I swear I didn't even mean to but I accidentally changed the topic once I noticed we stopped in front of our destination.
"Guys we're here!" I excitedly say jumping out of the car.
Everyone quickly forgets what we were just talking about as they get out of the cab and hand the driver a $20 for the ride and so he'll wait for us so he can take us to the airport after we're done.
Once we get inside the line is a bit longer than usual but trust all of us when we say it is %100 worth it. After about 10 minutes of waiting it's finally our turn and we order in the usual order being Mia, Isabella, Me, and finally Avery. Mia gets her usual birthday cake with extra sprinkles and gummy bears on top. Isabella decides on a cookies n' cream with hot fudge and whipped cream. After debating on if I wanna try something new or not I decide to stick to my favorite because I don't wanna ruin my last memory for a while of this place just because I was stupid and got something that tastes like shit. I finally order a pistachio ice cream with a bunch of popping boba on top.
If you don't know what those are then A. you're dead to me and B. They're basically these little boba pearls that have real fruit juice in them and omg so good. (I'll put some pictures at the end of what they look like because I didn't even know what they were called till I looked them up lol).
Anyways, I joined Mia and Isabella at our favorite booth which surprisingly hadn't been taken but i'm not going to question it.
Once Avery came back with her plain sherbert ice cream, it wasn't long before Avery decided to point out how I completely dodged the decision of what to do first thing in Mexico and now everyone turns to look at me again. I don't know what to choose but before I said anything I remember something.
"How about we go to a club and find us some mans?" I say smirking while taking a bite of my ice cream.
"Bitch don't even joke about that, none of us are 21 yet." Isabella says leaning back in her seat and crossing her arms.
"Isabella, I have absolutely no clue what you could ever mean. I mean, it says right here on your ID that you turned 21 just a couple months ago," I cockily tell her before handing her the flawless fake ID and then the others theirs.
"No fucking way!" Mia says with her jaw practically on the floor as she examines her new ID.
"Holy shit these are for realll, where did you get these?" Isabella asks in glee and disbeleif.
"A girl never spills her secrets" I giggle
"Avery what do you think, you've been quiet this whole time girl" Mia finally speaks up and now that mentioned it Avery hasn't said a word.
"I don't know guys...I don't think this is a good idea, it's illegal to even have these..." Avery says looking kind of upset.
"No shit sherlock-" Isabella comments rolling her eyes.
"C'mon A! Pleaseeeeee? it'll be sooo funnnnn!" Mia pleads
"Yeah, don't be lame," I pout with my best puppy dog eyes but Avery still looks unsure.
"Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease?" We all say in unison.
"Aw c'mon don't gang up on me like that you guys know I can't say no when you do that." Avery finally responds
"So is that I yes?" I say with a hopeful smile
"Fine but if shit goes wrong i'm blaming Isabella," She says with a chuckle but we all know she's dead serious.
"Ayyyyy! Dunno what I did to deserve the blame but hey, if that's what a girl gotta do to make sure we have fun then fuck it, i'm in" Isabella responds
We all celebrate with a giant scoop of ice cream in one mouthful which we all immediately regret when that brain freeze hits.
"Alright girls, I'm ready to go find the man of my dreams-" I start but before I can finish a rather hot voice which I can't see the face of responds against my ear,

Still A/n: Anyways that's the first chapter I've literally never actually tried to make an actual decent book until now so I hope this was at least somewhat good lol but let me know if there are any suggestions for future chapters at any time and this was 1,082 words long which I didn't expect because it's me but uhm yeah
