Spot Conlon x Reader

Hey hey! So like I mentioned previously, I am working on a Spot Conlon x Reader story. I would say I have the foundation for a plot(bc let's be honest, not the best writer) and I'm basing it off the 1992 Newsies movie. I just want to know if I should base it off the plot of the movie, bc like my Benny x Reader one was kinda it's own thing and didn't go off the plot of the movie. I'm also debating if Y/n should be related to Bryan Denton, who is the news reporter guy or someone else or just parents/guardians.

All I have originally planned is that Y/n
- Lives in Brooklyn
- Visits Medda's theater a lot (which I'm aware is considered a long walk)
- Y/n is acquainted with Jack Kelly
- Y/n's whole character is actually considered wealthy, meaning it won't be one of those stories where Y/n has to pretend to be a boy Newsie (which nothing wrong with those. I think they are fun).

Like I said "foundation" very much a work in progress. The other Newsies are of course going to be involved bc I love them too much, but I might add some Brooklyn boys(OCs) just bc I don't think I know any.

Let me know your thoughts on this one, sorry it's so vague.
