2012 It was 8:00 on Sunday and I was asleep on my couch when I heard my phone ringing. I lazily picked it up and answered.
"Hello?"
"Y/N where are you? We were supposed to be prepped and ready 20 minutes ago."
"Ah crap my bad Reed."
Reed audibly sighs before speaking again. "It's fine Y/N, just be here as soon as you can."
He hangs up as I hurriedly get dressed and run out the door to my apartment. I jump on my motorcycle as I speed towards the launch site where I was supposed to be 20 minutes ago. ———————————————————————————— I eventually make it and sprint inside the building to the prep room. I see the rest of my team standing near the door waiting for me.
"Good to see you're finally here Y/N." Reed says as I walk in.
"Yeah my bad my bad."
"Just hurry up and get ready" My sister Susan says.
I strap on my suit and enter the shuttle of the rocket.

Reed: Remember Y/N nothing extra, just going out and coming back simple as that. *To Sue* You sure he can do this. I mean we passed on some people with much better qualifications than your brother.
Sue: It'll be fine Reed I promise.

I flip the ignition switch as I hear the roar of the engine as we take off.

We rocket towards the atmosphere at almost 18,000 miles per hour as the first boosters detach.
Y/N: Entering phase two. *To ship* Come on baby stay together for me.
We continue to rise through the sky for several minutes.
We break through the atmosphere and are finally in space as the biggest rocket detaches from us, leaving us with only the shuttle.
Reed: All right everyone get to your stations we only have a couple minutes to get the samples we need to bring back before we get hit by this storm.
