Take a Picture, It'll Last Longer

'Suddenly a message catches your eye, it was from someone in your family. '

You stared at your phone in anxiety. Missing Ted and waiting to board your plane. You lift your hand up to your face, gradually moving it over and biting your nails slightly. It was a nervous habit you got into a couple years ago.

Scrolling through your phone you look at the pictures you took with the boys during the chuckle sandwich episodes. Smiling slightly at the photos, you got a message that made you frown. It was another message from the person who you wished never spoke to you again. Reluctantly you opened it.

"Look at you, all grown up and fame to your name."
"Just know, so help me god if you speak out against me like you did the family... I'll come find you."

You're heart sank, both from fear and flashbacks.

"Hunter I told you to stop messaging me. Don't make me call the court again for your restraining order. I wanna move past this shit already so I'm not gonna say anything about you."

You replied frustrated. You placed your phone down, rubbing your eyes and then adjusting your earbuds for your music. You huffed silently and closed out of the chat. You were reliving memories you wish you hadn't. You brushed it off for now, seeing as your flight was getting ready to board. You stood up and walked over into the line, luggage in hand.

Once the employee checked your ticket you were ready to board with your luggage, moving through the small entryway. You found your seat, put your luggage up top and sat down at the window seat.

Part of you was saddened, having to leave someone you just started dating. Knowing you had to go back to someplace that only made you moderately happy. But you had things to look forward to. You we're going to get a new cat, play games with Ted over discord and make more things you love. Which reminded you about choosing the cats name. "Could always have two cats named Link and Zelda. Since I know you have an interest in Legend of Zelda."
Ted's words echo through your head. You thought it was sweet that he remembered one of the games you loved. So, naturally, It fit perfectly. It reminded you of Ted and it was pretty. As you looked out the window, you could see the plane getting ready to take off. Hearing the captain go on with his whole safety speech. Eventually once you we're up in the air, you rested your head back and fell asleep while you could. It wasn't an incredibly long flight but you wanted it to go by fast.

You stir awake from your short slumber to see that you we're slowly descending down. You were almost home. Looking at your phone you check the time, 6:54pm. That's right the timezone change. It was only 3:54pm where ted was. You figure that when you get home, you could text Ted and get some rest. Starting work the next morning after your vacation.

Soon enough before you know it, everyone is exiting the plane and you make your way out of the airport. You walk over to where your car is parked and start it up. Hearing the engine spark to life you pat the steering wheel jokingly. "Glad to see your still alive and running." You say to yourself. Before you go anywhere you decide this would be the best time to text the boys and let them know you got home alright. So you just texted the discord DM with all three of them in it.
