It seems like I've learned a new spell, although I'm unsure about trying it out.
Lately, my own acid magic has been hurting myself because my level isn't rising high enough to keep up with my magic abilities. But it's only been a little amount of blood lately so I'm sure I'll be fine trying out this spell.

"Weapon Creation!"

Some red words popped up in my face and said:

"Please specify the weapon being created"

Okay, I think I understand now, this spell will create a weapon revolving around my magic type. Pretty neat, so I'll start with the basics.

"Weapon Creation: Sword."

As I say that, acid flows out of my hand and into a sword completely made out of bright green acid. Pretty cool. When I grip the sword it doesn't hurt, so this might be an exception to me constantly hurting myself with my own magic.

I take the weapon outside to give it a test, of course Kaede comes with me to see what it can do.

"Say, Daichi. I was thinking about testing something else after you finish up with testing your acid sword."

"I'd be happy to help, I'm going to have to wait to hear it until I'm done with this though."

Kaede has no Idea that my acid has been hurting myself more lately, so I went out to hunt monsters to increase my level, not wolves this time of course.
I heard a little mumbling sound coming from a bush, so I checked it out and I saw it.

"...Goblins."

We've hit the point where wolves were too easy (for one of us at least) so we had moved on to the next monster. I had slashed once with my sword and the goblin split into two almost instantly. Seeing as my magic sword was this powerful, I used the spell again to remove it. The sword turned back into liquid acid, and moved into my wrist-

I yell out in agony.

"Are you alright?! What happened?!"

This was probably the most pain I had ever felt in my entire life. I felt the acid burn through my skin so much that I felt like throwing up, and I could feel in moving up my arm and disappearing once it reached my chest.

"I'm fine, don't worry about it. Just stubbed my toe on a stump."

I felt like I had to lie about this, because it would only complicate things.

"Jeez, don't scare me like that. Idiot."

Of course she had to insult me again. It's normal, but it still hurts.

"So, what was this thing you wanted to test out?"

As I asked this question, her eyes practically started glowing. I think I went blind for a little while.

"So basically, I'll jump into the air and you'll fire a bunch of acid shots in front of me and then I'll freeze them and then-"

"Woah, woah, woah! Slow down! Speak slower so I can actually understand what you're saying."

It's like she forgot to add punctuation to a paragraph, except with speaking.

"Sorry. So I'll jump into the air and then you'll fire some acid shots in front of me, then I'll freeze the acid and push the icicles forwards to attack."

"Sounds pretty cool, let's try it out."

I had to be extremely careful here because all it would take is one miss and Kaede would become soup.

Luckily I didn't miss and Kaede had frozen the acid in the air, she then pushed the icicles forwards and they stabbed into the ground and a few trees. I walked over to one in a tree to study the effects. It seems like the acid's effect is neutralized while frozen, but as the acid melted, the liquid did have the same properties of acid.
