Ara's Mess

Elders

Ara woke up in came, it was still dark but it was starting to get brighter. She winced as her wounds stung "That wasn't just a dream?" Ara meowed "Of course it wasn't! I'm still here" Darka meowed "We should probably get some herbs to treat these wounds before they get infected" Corina meowed "But Junipereye is probably still asleep" Sora meowed "We should be okay treating ourself, we did like to help Junipereye a lot when we were kits" Abel meowed "Yeah" Ara meowed as she walked over to the medicine den. Like Sora thought, Junipereye was still asleep. Ara used chervil root and tormentil to treat her wounds and went back to her spot in front of the nursery. Ara wondered why she felt so tired, she had been sleeping all night and she had visited the Dark Forest in her dream. She ended up falling asleep for a bit and when she woke up again the camp was more awake. She stretched and looked around and her eyes settled on the elders den. She figured the other apprentices would be training so she decided to do stuff for the elders. She entered the den and saw that a few were awake "Why hello there" An elderly tom meowed "Hi there, is there anything I could do?" Ara asked "Well I've got some pretty bad ticks, it'd be nice for them to be gone" The tom meowed "Okay" Ara meowed and she went to fetch mouse bile from the medicine den and soon came back with some moss soaked in it. "You're Ara right?" The tom asked "Yep that's me" Ara replied "Well my names Lavenderwhisker" He replied "It's a shame Icestar is so harsh on you, you know when she was younger she used to be one of the sweetest cats in the clan" Lavenderwhisker meowed "Really? What happened?" Ara meowed "She got her heart broken, and then it turned into ice" Lavenderwhisker meowed "After getting her heart broken she became meaner and meaner" Lavenderwhisker meowed "Oh" Ara meowed "Hey quick question, some of the cats in here look pretty young to be elders, why are they here" Ara asked "Well Ryeleaf's hearing is getting worse and worse, he's going to be completely deaf soon and Sandyhollow over there injured his leg really bad, he can't even use it" Lavenderwhisker meowed "Oh that's really sad" Ara meowed "Yeah, a dog got me and mangled up my leg, if it was a back leg I could still due some warrior duties but since it's my front leg it's pretty hard to walk so I had to become an elder early" Sandyhollow meowed "that's terrible" Ara meowed "Yep, it's a shame" Sandyhollow replied.

Ara had finished up with the elders and went back to her spot. "To bad I can't wash my paws due to being stuck in camp" Ara mumbled. She'd be stuck with mouse bile on her paws. Her stomach growled, she stood up and went over to the fresh kill pile to satisfy her hunger. She was going to grab a mouse when she was shoved out of the way "Hey!" Arrow growled taking control. "Out of the way rouge!" Ratpaw meowed "Have you ever heard of she cats first you foxheart?" Arrow growled "I learned battle training today so I get to have fresh kill as a reward" Ratpaw boasted "Meanwhile you did nothing since you're stuck in camp!" Ratpaw jeered "Actually I took care of the elders!" Corina meowed, taking control "Hah! A fitting job for a rouge like you!" Ratpaw jeered and Arrow growled as she took control, her claws digging into the ground "Arrow stop! We can't attack him or we'll get in trouble!" Abel meowed to her. Arrow growled and sheathed her claws and grabbed a mouse from the fresh kill pile and went to her spot outside the nursery to eat. Eating made Arrow tired so she decided to go to sleep.
