It didn't sit well with Eugene as he tossed and turned in his bed.

His stomach churned uncomfortably - and he has been noticing such symptoms ever since he fired M/n.

He felt an immense amount of guilt, lost, and. . . Regret.

For an intelligent man, he truly can be hopeless at certain things.

It was as if his so-called solution only brought him more pain and suffering, and that the feeling that he's experiencing now was immeasurable compared to the previous fear he felt.

This outweighed his fears, and because of that, he took some time to finally gather his thoughts more properly. No more excuses, no more denials.

He sat up on his bed, pushing down the covers slightly as he reached for his lamp to bring light through the darkness of his room. He then reached for the mirror in his drawer to view himself, to see if his face slips up any clues that may help him.

It started when he suddenly kept thinking about the certain male, even going as far as thinking that every little perk he had was endearing.

Then followed was the impact he felt when he saw M/n get hurt, no matter how serious.

Then there was the longing he felt when he was only met with M/n's absence, he could not function properly without constantly comparing people to him.

Then the relief he felt when he got him back, the gratifying feeling when he knew that M/n was back with him, that he was now back by his side.

Then the protectiveness. The protectiveness he doesn't normally feel for other people. Even putting himself in the line for him - which was not normal at all!

Then the jealousy he felt when people show interest in M/n, the unreasonable anger he felt towards the woman who openly flirted with M/n with clear intentions of indecent things.

And finally, the fear. Now, this was more selfish. He feared not only for himself but for what M/n might think. He originally believed that he was simply being cautious - but in reality, he was just afraid on how he might truly lose M/n completely if he ever finds out about the little possibility.
