I was walking home from a tiring practice. I sighed, I lived in the opposite direction of many teammates so I had to walk home alone. Looking around, I spotted a figure a little ways away from me wearing a soccer jersey from my school. But it looked different, and I just couldn't put my finger on what it was. It was starting to get dark out, and it just had to be cloudy, so I could not see who it was until they turned towards me.

"Who are you?" The mysterious person asked.

"Um.. no. Who are you?" I asked.

He came closer and towered over me, and I shrank a little. How could someone be so tall? I shrugged it off, I just needed to know who he was and I needed to get home.

"So," I said, "I'll ask again, who are you?"

"Matias, you?"

"Alexis"

"What kind of name is that?"

"What do you mean?"

"It sounds kind of American don't you think? You're really bad at coming up with a fake name."

"What do you mean? That's my real name and I came from America," I said, slightly annoyed.

"But you don't look American"

"Well, I am"

"Let me see you're face then, your Japanese is too good for an American"

He snatched my hand and dragged me over to the nearest street lamp.

"What the hell?"

I saw his face too. He had one green eye and one deep blue eye. His hair was jet black and he wore glasses. His expression changed when his eyes adjusted to the dim light coming from above us. He stared at me with a shocked expression on his face.

In response to this I said, "What? Do you have a crush on me or something?"

"Uh..no" He stuttered.

"Wait a minute, your that hot cocky captain that everyone is gossiping about" I made sure to make a quotation marks with may hands to highlight my sarcasm. He pouted and turned his head.

"I'm going now," He pouted. As he walked away I realized that I had to walk the same way as him.

"Oi, Matias, are you going to let a girl walk home by herself?"

He slowed down and I walked towards him. He grabbed my hand but it was a softer grasp than before.

He looked away from me and said, "So..... Where's your house?"

"Down the street and then take a right at the stop sign," I said with a smile.

It was so funny to me when he would try to look at me when we would pass under a street lamp. As we arrived at my house, he looked perplexed.

"What's that look?," I asked.

"Your house is next to mine"

I was so confused I was wondering who lived in that house because the curtains where always closed. I saw someone walking their cat that appeared to be a Russian blue but they always had a hood on. I thought they where an adult because of their height, so I never approached them. I thanked him for walking me home and went into the front door of my house. There was a mirror on the wall so I could see if there was anybody coming in behind me and I saw Matias staring at me. I rolled my eyes. Went up the stairs and laid on my bed. I did not now what to think about all of this. I would just have to sleep it off.
