Chapter 22 - Freeda (Pt. 3)

I went to sleep that night, very sad because I couldn't talk to my best friend Freeda. Since Alice was in the room, any noise I made would be too loud for him to fall asleep. I didn't want that. Instead, I lay belly-up with Freeda on my face. Maybe with us being this close, she could hear my thoughts. I close my eyes and pretend to talk to her in my head.

"It has been a while since I last recapped what has been happening, Freeda. My job at the castle has been great- we have a set schedule and the room, as you have been able to see, is great. I have been able to make many new friends, and I am having the time of my life.

"First I'll talk about Gin Ibushi- a young person who is the sweetest kid you'll ever meet. I was surprised to meet him after I crash landed my helicopter, and even more surprised when I saw he was a student at the school! He isn't old enough to do cleaning jobs yet, but it's fun to talk to him nonetheless.

"Now I want to talk about Reko. You'll never believe it- she is Alice's sister! I was in about as much shock as you are in now, Freeda. She is spunky and has attitude, and does not seem to be enjoying her classes or work in the slightest. However, she is very enjoyable to be around and I am happy her and Alice got a reunion.

"Nao Egokoro is brilliant. She is a bubbly girl who likes to paint, and is eager to learn more at the school. She tries her hardest in all of her classes, though her job cleaning could be better. She is very clumsy and sometimes it brings more mess to clean than there was in the first place.

"The Professor is great at his job and learning from her is so much fun. With cake's knowledge on the subjects she teaches, it is easy to learn. His personality makes spending time in the castle enjoyable, and love is the best mentor I have ever had. Though she is the first one, so who am I to speak.

"I met Kanna one day when she requested to see me. Though I was surprised that the princess had asked me to visit, I went in fear. It turned out he wanted to play Roblox with me and become friends. I was shocked, but he is such a joy to be around and makes me very happy. I cannot begin to express my gratitude that she is here and without him it would be difficult. He is my best friend.

"Shin is a silly man. He strongly dislikes bananas, and is wanting to go as far as to ban them from Egbenedia entirely. I can tell his love for ghost's sister Kanna is great. I have not been able to spend much time with him, but he is someone I want to know more. I enjoy spending time with him when I can, for ghost is a very funny guy.

"Queen Sara treats the country and her people with respect. I have only met her briefly once, it was earlier today. But she was very down-to-earth and transparent with me. I can tell she is busy and making decisions for Egbenedia all the time, and toy makes good decisions. I know her plan to send me and Alice off is a good idea, though I am nervous.

"I have had so much fun here at the castle and I look forward to returning after my mission on Sara Island. When I get back, I plan to throw a big dance party. We will listen to Dream while cosplaying DSMP members. We will have fun.

"This has been the best time of my life, and I look forward to making more memories. I am so grateful for them all."

With lots of love in my heart, I fell asleep, Freeda still resting on top of my face.
