Chapter 3

'So, you'll be working with Felix for the organisation of the talent show', Minho said with a suggestive smirk, while Hyunjin could only gape at the newfound information.

'What??', the brunette exclaimed, 'How didn't I hear anything about this earlier?',the boy buried his fingers in his hair and pulled at the strands, feeling more nervous than anything, knowing that he'll have to spend /alone/ time with the illegally gorgeous TA.

At the end of the day, this situation /was/ perfect for their little 'mission' but he couldn't help the anxious nibbling on his lower lip, not knowing how well he'd be able to focus and if he'd have the self-restraint to not jump on the purple-haired boy.
'You would've known if you hadn't been too busy acting like some sort of succubus demon that's trying to eat Felix', the older boy teased, which earned him an offended gasp by Hyunjin.

'Was not!', he protested and could only pout at Minho's challenging raised eyebrows and Jisung snickered at the interaction from his seat across from them.

'So, uh, I guess that Chan /conveniently/ paired you with him then?',Han wiggled his eyebrows at Minho, who only looked away with red ears and pretended to not have heard a thing. The action made Jisung giggle as he rested his head on Sam's shoulder. At the action, his boyfriend wrapped an arm around the shorter man's waist and pulled him closer to him, pecking his cheek softly.

'You guys are too obsessed with these two', Sam muttered, 'I really don't think that they're worth it at all', Hyunjin only furrowed his brow at that and Jisung opened his mouth, ready to make a comment, before Sam's voice interrupted him.

'Oh, look who's here', he nearly yelled with a smirk as he turned his head towards the newcomers in the university cafeteria.

Felix and Chan had walked in, walking side by side and turning towards the loud voice from Hyunjin's table. Minho kicked Sam's feet under the table but the blonde was left unbothered by the action, too busy narrowing his eyes at Felix who was looking at him with a bored expression.

The TA had his black shirt still rolled up at the sleeves and the purple hair was brushed nicely into place once again. The man pushed his glasses up his nose and spared Hyunjin a quick glance, before locking his eyes with Sam's again.

Hyunjin still felt the skip in his heart at the sight of the other man but somehow, the brunette didn't have a good feeling about this.

'You two coming to the welcoming party on Friday?', Sam asked with a tilt to his head, the weirdly annoying smirk still present on his face, 'Or, is Mr. Lee Felix's schedule too occupied for things that interest the low-lives like us.'.

'Sam', Jisung hissed at his boyfriend who only waved him off, not sparing a glance.

Felix didn't look particularly bothered by the comment, more than anything, he seemed to only want for this to end as quickly as possible but Hyunjin still felt a pang in his chest at the rudeness coming off Sam.

What was his issue with Felix? Hyunjin was so confused, he had never seen Jisung's boyfriend acting this way towards someone. The man was usually a really kind and fun person to be around. He gave Minho a questioning look but the blue-haired boy only shook his head, signaling him that they'd discuss it later.

Felix didn't regard Sam with an answer, he just puffed under his nose and moved forward, apparently fully intending on ignoring the man and going for his day. Chan next to him seemed to be chewing his lips nervously though and he sent several worried looks to Felix. Hyunjin really wanted to know what was going on. Did Sam and Felix have a bad history between them?

'Wow, you've gotten even worse', Sam pressed on, obviously refusing to let this go and making Felix and Chan pause on their feet again, 'Get off your high horse for once, will yout? Brat.', the blonde said mockingly and Hyunjin sent him a death glare. The brunette didn't care if he was Jisung's boyfriend or whatever, he was ready to punch him in the face for his attitude.
