'Felix', his dad snarled as he took a slow step forward, Hyunjin backing away at the same time, his breathing turning irregular with every passing second while the energy the man was giving off was so ugly, so consuming, so terrifying as his eyes were locked with his son's and sending chills down Hyunjin's spine.

'Dad I-', Felix started, his voice so small, so shaky that it snapped the brunette's head towards him immediately, the worry embracing him more than any other emotion as he watched the purple-haired man trying to make himself invisible, his shoulders scrunched and lower lip trembling while he didn't allow himself to look away from his father's piercing gaze.

'Do you dare to tell me,', the older man, Minjun, from what Hyunjin could recall of his name, interrupted him, 'Why did I receive a call from Jessica this morning', he took another step closer with every other word, while the two other boys cowered away from him, stepping over the broken pieces on the floor without paying them any mind.

'And was told that you and this /pathetic excuse/ of a man, whom she called fucking Hwang Hyunjin', he pointed an accusing finger in Hyunjin's direction without sparing him a look while the brunette felt his stomach drop, 'were seen by her, in /her/ neighbourhood last night, wandering around the streets and, beg your fucking pardon, were /kissing/ each other', the man growled the last words as Hyunjin's mouth parted in shock, he gave another look to Felix but the man seemed completely frozen, the only indication that he was alive being the rapid rise and fall of his chest.

'Respond to your father when he's talking to you, you /disgrace of a son/', the man yelled the last words so loudly and with such a deep timber to his voice that it sounded like something straight out of hell, straight out of Hyunjin's worst nightmares. And when he clutched the collar of Felix's t-shirt and roughly pulled him towards himself, Hyunjin's heart sped up its irregular rhythm and he took a step towards them, refusing to see Felix being hurt.

'Don't you dare take another step closer or I'll fucking kill you', Minjun gritted, as he side-eyed the brunette, veins popping over his wrinkled forehead and eyes turning even darker as Hyunjin himself froze, his throat tightening with the fear crawling under his skin like spiders that were injecting poison in his veins and turning each one of his limbs stone-cold.

'Don't-', Felix's whisper cut through the air between them, making the other two men turn their eyes towards him in a flash, 'don't touch him, please', he said with a barely heard quivering voice and the brunette felt like his heart was being stabbed with a long, long sword, cutting through the muscle slowly and ripping every other sensation, but the one of pain, away.

Minjun raised an eyebrow, staying silent for seconds that stretched like hours, before he threw his head back in a loud and ugly laughter.

'Oh, is that how it is?', his dad let out, shaking Felix's body from the tight hold he had on his collar, 'You plead for the safety of another /man/?', the top corner of his lip twisted upwards angrily, structurizing Felix with eyes, burning like flames.

'After everything I've given you, after I /raised/ you and trusted you to inherit my business in the future, after I gave you /everything/ that a child can ask for, you dare fall so low? You dare get your hands stained with another man, you dare be so weak to allow sick people to fuck your brain up?', his voice rose higher and higher with every word and his own hand was shaking in rage while gripping the fabric of Felix's shirt.

'I-', the TA gulped, blinking his eyes up at his father, 'I was already stained even before him, I was already 'sick' enough to like men, dad', Hyunjin's eyes widened at Felix's words but before he could realise it, his focus blurred into an ugly slow-motion as Minjun raised his other hand and threw a fist on the side of Felix's face, the bones on his knuckles coming in contact with the shorter's jaw so loud that it echoed in Hyunjin's brain and buried itself there, as the sword piercing his heart moved further and made him bleed.
