The title is funny to me
She watches longingly as a greying man walks the path to a young girl. The girl looked to be the same age as her. She sees the man embrace the girl before patting her head as if she was a small child. She concluded that it must be the girl’s grandfather. She pondered if they were going to spend the evening together. She imaged, sitting there, on the park bench, what they would do. Maybe they would go to a nice restaurant or put together a piece of furniture that had been sitting on the living room floor for months. She thought of ways they would converse, of the types of conversations they would have. Would they gossip about family members? Would they joke about embarrassing moments together? She would never know. She smiled sadly at the thought of what could have been her life. A life filled with loving and supporting grandparents that she will never have.
As you can tell I didn't even bother to give the poor girl a name. This isn't entirally abandoned. I acually just wrote this, but I can't make a whole plot with this. I could probs add it to one of my charaters, but I'm not working on anything at the moment.
This stemmed from me not having a living grandfather that gives a crap about me, so this is sorta a raw feeling for me.
feel free to use this as inspo, but if you do tell me I want to read your works!! BUT if i see it copied word by word, you are dead to me and i will insult you like gorden ramsey to bad cook... don't test me.
