Chapter 22

ScorpionHeart panted, WindClan and the helpers had chased out the Shadows and Dark warriors, this break was what all the Cats needed to regain energy. " ScorpionHeart, I must thank you for helping WindClan, you where truly brave " CrowStar said approaching him, and ScorpionHeart nodded " All the clans need help, this battle is hard " ScorpionHeart meowed, and Saw a shadow trying to sneak into camp. " Another Shadow, I'll chase it out! " ScorpionHeart snickered, and ran after it, The Shadow saw him, and ran as-well. ScorpionHeart leaped onto it, pinning it down. The Shadow smiled, and laughed, before letting out a un-earthly yowl, And ScorpionHeart jumped of him, and thousands of yowls were heard. The Shadow flew of the ground, and ScorpionHeart watched it Fly into the center of the lake, He could make out the small circle of the red orb. ScorpionHeart ran back to WindClan, and stopped besides CrowStar " Ok, I didn't do That " ScorpionHeart panted, and the toms watched the orb grow, before taking Shape. " Dad! What's going on! " WallabyPetal mewed, Running up to him , PygmyLeap and HollyStalk close behind. " I don't know, but get behind me " CrowStar meowed, and the three shuffled behind him. ScorpionHeart watched the orb form into a large blob, and a black foot stepped out of it, taller than any pine tree. Another one stepped out, and ScorpionHeart saw a creature pull itself out of the blob, and take its final form, a cat Blacker than night, his eyes red as the moon that shone, pine trees studded it's back, and a large X scar across his face, blood pouring out of it. " It's DarkForest... " ScorpionHeart gasped, and the cats screamed in horror, running into any rabbit den they could find. " You all refuse to die! So I guess I'll have to do it myself " DarkForest yowled, and slammed his paw down, sending a wave of Black decay in the direction. ScorpionHeart ran toward the water, he had to stop this " DARKFOREST! STOP! " ScorpionHeart shouted, but DarkForest didn't respond. " DARKFOREST! DOWN HERE! LISTEN TO ME! " ScorpionHeart shouted, and stood in the lake water, splashing it around frantically. " Oh, you again, what is it " DarkForest hissed, and raised him up with a single claw. " Stop this! Please I'll do anything! " ScorpionHeart begged, and DarkForest smirked " Fine...I'll stop, I'll recall all my Dark warriors, remove all the decay...but you spend eternity with me in My realm. "  DarkForest snickered, and ScorpionHeart looked down at the ground, he could see the faint outline of DoveWing. " Fine! But...let me say goodbye " ScorpionHeart mewed, and DarkForest nodded, letting him down. " DoveWing.. " ScorpionHeart meowed, and ran up to him. " What are you doing! You can't leave me! " DoveWing meowed, her eyes watered. " Trust me..I have a plan...but please, trust me " ScorpionHeart mewed, and DoveWing turned away " Why, just why! " DoveWing cried, and ScorpionHeart rubbed her pelt against his " I love you DoveWing...you may not see it...but what I'm doing will save everything and everyone. And I'll come back and be with you " ScorpionHeart mewed, and turned to DarkForest, nodding. DarkForest smiled, and floated him back to him, placed him on his back, and sank into the lake " I'll be back before SunRise...please let this plan work "
