Tony's daughter - oc x wade - Stony - ADHD and anxiety

IMPORTANT - I just want to put a quick note, i don't actully have ADHD this is just after a little googleing so im very sorry if anything is wrong. If there is something wrong please comment and i will try my best to fix it. As well as this it does have a very breof mention of 'mental retardation' at  the very end, please know these aren't my personal views and if people take offense to this i will change this just let me know. Background: Maddison Lyra Stark. She is tony's biological daughter and steve's step-daughter but she has adhd and anxiety. She is currently 16 years old but is homeschooled due to bullying. Due to her adhd she sometimes struggles understanding people and what they mean. Steve gets annoyed with her very easily and on occasion has hit her but the team don't know. Maddie is dating Wade and he is the only one that knows about the fact that Steve hits her. Tony knows about the abuse and loves her very much, he adores his daughter more than anything in the world.

It was an average Friday morning when Maddison woke up, immediately when she woke up she started her everyday morning routine. She got her outfit out and ready then stepped into the shower getting herself ready for the day. However when she was in the shower she couldn't stop thinking about wade. Maddie was going to be staying with Wade for the weekend, like she did every week but she was kind of nervous. They hadn't talked much since her last visit. Soon she spaced out, having a flashback from her last visit with wade.

Maddie had woken up from a nightmare and she realised that Wade was wide awake and was looking straight at her. When he noticed the tears in her eyes, he quickly pulled her into his chest just letting her cry. After a while she calmed down, Maddie was laid on his chest whilst he gently laid brushing her hair out of her face.

Wade asked her ''Do you want to talk about it?'' but she refused. She didn't want to talk about it. However, when she again woke up the next night from the exact same nightmare she broke down and told him about her father. About the fact that when the two were alone and Steve got angry, he would hit her.

About how the team didn't know and how she was scared of him. Most of all she broke down saying that he hated her because of her ADHD but that she couldn't help it and her anxiety only made it worse.

After breaking out of her trance maddie stepped out of the shower and finished getting ready. When she was done she stepped out of her room and went into the kitchen, sitting with Natasha. After all, Nat was her best friend, well Nat and Peter. After she sat in her seat nat immediately turned towards her, wrapping an arm around her shoulder.

Later on when maddie was coming home from Wades apartment she was told to come and meet her fathers and the team in the living room, she told wade to go to her room and that she would meet him afterwards. However when she got there she was told that the team was going on a mission and would be gone all weekend.

Immediately after the team left maddison started tearing up and turned to her father ''Daddy, do you have to go?'' he sighed and hugged her ''I'm sorry babygirl, but I do. Wade can stay for the weekend if you want?'' maddie nodded at him and whispered ''Okay daddy.'' Tony gave her a soft smile.

He knew she hated being alone in the tower and when he left for more than a full day but had Fury said that he needed to go on the mission. Tony let her out of the hug and offered her another soft smile before leaving her with the team for the mission.

When the team came back they all greeted maddie and went into the kitchen. Immediately after hugging Nat and her favourite uncles Bruce and Clint (they are really nice to her and they along with Tony help with and understand her condition better than everyone else). Maddie ran to her father and hugged him as he slightly lifted her up ''Daddy!'' she squealed ''I missed you...'' he smiled at her ''I missed you too babygirl.'' After that they let go of eachother and Tony walked into the kitchen with everyone else, leaving Steve and maddie in the room alone together. She gave him a small smile ''Hey papa.'' he looked at her and began talking to her however after a few minutes she spaced out and saw her uncle Clint's dog Lucky.

Maddie smiled and giggled crouching down to pet him ''Lucky!'' Steve was irritated that she had been ignoring him and began yelling at her. Maddison slowly stood up, clearly shaking. Steve was even more angry as she was looking at the floor and not at him and so he slapped her. Maddie's head snapped to the side at the force of the impact.

Meanwhile in the kitchen, the team heard shouting from the landing point and so decided to go in and check on Steve and maddie, to see what was happening. However when they got there they all saw Steve yelling at maddie and she stood there looking at the floor, slightly to the side and shaking. Suddenly clint yelled ''What the hell steve?!'' Maddie and Steve immediately heards them. Steve instantly looked at them while maddie badly flinched. Tony called out to maddie ''Come here sweetheart...'' she instantly ran towards him, burying her face in his chest as she cried.

Tony hugged her tightly before pulling her a bit away and looking at her ''Baby are you-......'' and as soon as he and the team got a good look at her face they saw the mark. It was obvious what had happened, Steve had slapped her. They knew why he slapped her as well since when they came in they heard Steve saying about how her 'being mentally redarded didn't give her an excuse to ignore him'. The team now knew both from her and steves reactions that this was not the first time this was happening. Tony was devastated; his husband was a cruel, vile monster. Steve had abused his daughter. Tony knew what it was like to be abused by a bad father which is why he vowed to always put time and effort into his daughter so she never had to feel what she did. Steve had broken his babygirl, like his father had done to him.
