Third Person POV
11:00 PM, July 10
It was night time in the mind place, that's what all the occupants called it at least. There were six of them in the house total. Roman and Patton, the original two, then Logan, Remus,Virgil, and Janus. Patton and Roman had met in college during a theater class, they were also roommates who were never actually in the dorm at the same time, they rarely saw each other and when they did they never talked. They had really met for the first time at the school's drama production where Roman was the lead and Patton was the stage manager. Patton had bumped into him after the show, literally almost knocking him over, and they became friends after talking with each other for only a few minutes. Patton was a little nervous when talking to his roommate because of Roman's huge reputation. Besides theater Roman was also captain of the football team, and baseball team, and also the cheerleading team so almost everyone in their college knew his name one way or another. Roman was more upbeat, friendly, the party guy type, and had a body that got both girls and boys crushing on him. His desk was surrounded with admirers every morning, which varied from his fellow cheerleaders who had crushes on him, the JV teams who wanted to be like him, to anyone who just wanted to hear him talk. When Roman talked, people listened. He had a toned body with muscles that painted him like a Greek god, and according to the rumors from his three exes, his reputation wasn't the only big thing he had, and they had pics to prove it. Those unfortunately spread around the school like wildfire, which only made people want him more, after seeing what he had to offer. Patton on the other hand was the father figure, the shy quiet type, but always there when you needed him and would drop everything for you the second you asked. He was the kid in the back of class minding his own business with a few friends around to talk to but mostly kept to himself. If you were at a party you'd barely notice him, but yet you knew you could trust him. If you needed someone to take you home because you're wasted, or you needed someone to hold your drink, all the girls knew he was a guy they could be around without needing to be scared. Physically he was almost the entire opposite of Roman, his face was splattered with freckles like little stars across the universe, and big round baby blue glasses covered his sapphire eyes. He had a smaller, more feminine figure compared to most guys their age. He was more of a good friend then he was a good lover, at least that's what everyone assumed. No one could tell because he hasn't met anyone he thought worth dating yet. The two had been talking for almost a full week when Roman introduced Patton to his twin brother Remus, but after Patton stopped talking to him for a week going to extreme lengths of even avoiding him in the dorms, because Remus had fucked up his mind within two seconds of talking. Patton was the most innocent person Roman knew and well his brother was the exact opposite. He would make dick jokes, innuendos and just gross you out at any chance he got. If you can't tell, the two of their personalities didn't mix very well and Roman regretted introducing them worried he had lost a friend by doing so. Patton had just needed time to adjust, quite a bit of it might I add, and when he was mentally stable again he felt now would be a good time to introduce his best friend Logan to Roman and Remus.
They were surprised to meet Logan because he was so much different from all of them, he was pretty much flying under the social radar, while both the twins were popular and even Patton was popular enough. Logan aced every one of his classes, had never been to a party, and jokes flew right over his head. People only talked to him when they needed homework or test answers, and he charged for it. Made a decent business for himself out of it. Roman was wondering how Patton and Logan even met each other because they were so different, and that's when he realized his brother was already drooling over the new guy. If there's one thing Roman could agree on with his brother it was his choice of guys, Logan was beautiful and handsome at the same time.He had this sort of beautifulness to him, a sort of nerdiness that fit him well and you just couldn't describe. Logan didn't even look real, almost like a dream, he was that perfect. He had a strong jaw and striking dark blue eyes that made everything about him pop so much more. He had black glasses that rested on his nose, always just a tiny bit crooked but no one dared point that out since he wanted everything to perfection. For him everything had to be in a certain spot, it had to be the right color, it just had to fit his standards. Neither of the brothers seemed to care that Logan dressed and acted like a teacher, often yelling at them to follow the dormitory rules because Logan's style meant that his pecs pushed against all the polos he wore, and his stubborn in-charge personality didn't bother them that much. Logan wasn't a skinny guy but he wasn't completely muscular either, just beautifully toned in the right way. If he wanted a boyfriend or girlfriend he could easily get one from his looks alone. But none of that mattered because after about a week Logan couldn't stand Remus either because of all the innuendos being made about him all the time, which made him want to leave the group and continue hanging with Patton on his own. It was not only the innuendos but the constant sex talk Remus had been making towards him. The one that kept popping up almost every five minutes was "Are you a painting? Cause I'd like to nail you against the wall." That wasn't the only one though, once Remus had told Logan "I'd love to see how that slicked back hair of yours looks after I yank on it all night long." Logan wore his hair down after that one, not daring to slick it back which for some reason saddened Roman. He thought he looked rather nice with it slicked back like that. It had been three months since their meeting and at this point Remus had decided he wanted friends he knew in the group and introduced them to Virgil and his older brother Janus during a study group they were having for midterms. The two of them weren't actually related but were as close as brothers, since Janus raised him after Virgil's parents kicked him out in the eighth grade. Virgil was an anxious kid you could tell just by the way he acted, always had some sort of fidget/anxiety toy with him, always skittish around new people, never wanting to ask for something and making someone do it for him, and he sometimes would go "turtle mode" by hiding in his hoodie if he was in a situation he didn't like. He had a hoodie covered in band patches and pins from shows he liked, he had sewn on purple plaid patches with white yarn to customize it for himself. Virgil almost always had on skinny jeans and his hoodie, he never left without it. He always had a pair of headphones around his neck so he didn't need to engage in the conversation if he didn't want to and he barely talked to Roman, Patton, or Logan at first, only sticking with Remus and Janus. Janus was more social than his little brother because he didn't mind the others although he stuck out more than any of them did. Afterall he looked more different than all of them did. Janus had a giant burn on the entire right side of his face. Remus loved it and said he looked beautiful with it, even though Janus himself hated it, it made him self-conscious and got him bullied. He had gotten it from his parents, only Remus and Virgil knew how it happened. He refused to tell anyone the story, even the cops don't know how he got it. They had asked him when they took him away from his parents because at any given moment they were either neglecting him, or abusing him. When they first met Patton's eyes fell on it almost immediately and started to ask him about it but both Remus and Virgil shot him a look and he stopped. Everyone was surprised when after a few days of knowing each other Patton and Virgil ended up getting really close. Virgil completely came out of his shell and Janus and Remus said it was the most Virgil had talked or smiled around anyone, even more than he did around them. He now never had his headphones on anymore, he seemed like an entirely different person when he was with Patton. Patton was the only one who could pull a smile out of Virgil when he was upset. They all agreed it was a good change.
