Chapter 3 : Rideout Rising

Ever since the reunion in Zac's soiree, Y/n's not been seen anywhere.
She's disappeared after she talked with Shu that day.

Shu can be seen sitting on a grass watching the sun set in the horizon while he carefully caress his right shoulder.

Steps could be heard and stoped behind him. Shu didn't dare to turn around since he already knew who it was.

"Why are you here? Shouldn't you be with Lui? Y/n."

Y/n sat beside him.

"Hey...you should be nicer... I even defended you back then." She pouted.

Shu looked down. They already knew each other before she went to America. She even taught him a lot of techniques in launching. But he stoped using it since the incident last year.

"Sorry..." Shu says.

She tilted her head.

"You did nothing wrong Shu... You were injured that time."

"Still..."

"Want me to train you?"

Shu shook his head. No matter how much he wanted to train with her, he couldn't bring himself to oblige.

"Don't blame yourself! It was my decision not his and he can't tell me what to do. And it was clearly my fault. I only trained him to become strong , I've forgotten to fill some things. I could see my past self on him but much worse."

She murmured the last sentence quietly.

"Do you still blade?" Shu asked curiously.

"I just retired lately before I came back here. I meet some old acquaintance from New York and our conversation lead me to retire."

"..."

"Well...I better leave. I'm going somewhere.
If someone asked for me tell them that I'm remembering. And that I'm gonna find what I came back for." After that she left.

Y/n went to her old house and was looking for something. It took days being there and she already missed a lot of team battles.
After probably searching the house , she found lots of journals.
She checked the date and read the very first one.

It was full of her records of her past battles and a lot of strategies.

She took it and left to go Beigoma to meet up with Valt.

What she saw was very surprising.
Valt was talking like a robot Infront of the camera and Honcho was yelling at the interviewers.

"Didi come at the wrong time?" She asked earning everyone's attention.

Valt was grinning happily and the twins hugged her.

"Hey Y/n! Did you see our team battles?! "

"What battles?"

Valt was shocked beyond repair.

"You didn't watch?" Valt asked.

"I think I got carried away searching in my old house." She said.

"Awww man! You should've seen it!"

"I guess it's the cons of having a huge house." Y/n shrugged.

"Someone understands!" Wakiya says.

"So what's with the camera?" She asks.

She got an explanation about a video of their road to the finals.
