Chapter 7 : Destinies' bond with others

Ever since her encounter with Lui, Y/n has stayed in her room.
She wasn't in the mood to meet anyone in the moment.
Lui's words had struck her... She felt guilty towards her bay 'Destinies' .

She held her bay in her healed hand, observing it.

"Why do you trust me Destinies? "
She closed her eyes and when she opened it, she was in a space where she saw a huge white knight being surrounded by red chains that seemed to float around it.

She was astonished.

"Destinies? " She asked.

The knight looked towards her.
"Y/n...You're a one of a kind bladers. You care a lot for your bay. I always have faith for you and trust you deeply... But I know deep down you can't forget about your first bay... And until the time comes when you two reunite, my loyalty will always be on you...even if I will no longer be by your side. " Destinies says.

Y/n looked down and felt guilty, she returned back to reality and saw 'Destinies' shine.
She smiled to herself and went out for fresh air.

𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐩...

Y/n was fidgeting on her phone at the bay blade arena...

It's still a few days until the tournament begins.

She wanted peace...she felt cornered everytime she see Lui. She wanted to be his training partner again.

Y/n stood up and walked towards the stadium at the center of the arena.
No one was here to disturb her peace.

She took out her bay which shined so bright, indicating that its pleased to be with her.
Not knowing that a pair of purple orbs is watching her.

She put her bay on her launcher.
"Let it rip. " Y/n softly says in a low voice.

It was a great launch. Destinies spins around the stadium with a great speed. Her bay shined brightly. The bay spins until it loses stamina after a while.
She picked it up and felt excitement throughout her entire body. Y/n knew that Destinies was itching for a battle, she did too.

"As expected for someone like you. " someone suddenly says.

Y/n looked towards the direction of the noise and saw the least person she wanted to see in her moment of peace. Yes.... It is none other than LUI.

His steps echoing while he walks towards the stadium where Y/n is at.

"Of all the people it had to be you to interrupt my peace. " Y/n says with an irk mark on her forehead.

Lui just smirked at her irritated face. He stopped walking in front of her. Showing an intimidating face.

"You only stopped wilting because of my advice. If I didn't point it out, your bay would probably be inside a dumpster somewhere. " He says to her.

If it were another person to hear this, they would think that his words is hurtful, but
Y/n knew him.
Her expression soften.

"Dumpster? I won't ever go to that line... If anything... I'll probably give this to someone else, but I doubt Destinies would accept another blader other than me. You'll probably pass if I give Destinies to you. "
Y/n says.

Lui made a ' what? ' face and furrowed his eyebrow.

"Did you actually think that I'd accept it?! " He replied.

Y/n smirked and playfully turned around while she picked up Destinies.

"Well...I know you too well that's why I know you would accept it. If I gave it to someone else, Destinies won't bond with them resulting for it to not release it's full potential. And with your attitude I doubt you'd want to witness Destinies become so weak when it's strong enough to defeat Luinour in battle . "
