It was around 4 am ish who knows really, it doesnt matter anyways because Sollux was way to busy to check the time. Way to busy meaning he couldnt sleep so coding was his past time for now.

Looking down to his side was the Vantas himself in the flesh sleeping clung to the insomniac gemini. Not to say Karkats any better in that matter actaully hes usually up with him, and trust me he TRIED to be only to be shut down quickly by the clicking of the keys on his laptop sounding a little to much like pale chirps.

So now here they are Sollux up far to late on his own with Karkat laying pressed right against him.

Sollux decides to take his eyes off his sleeping quadrant and directing them back to the screen but not before rubbing his eyes with one hand tiredly.

This goes on, too Solluxs unfortun, only a few more minutes, "Hmm,, Captorr."
Sollux looking now down at the before asleep troll to see a more disappointed look on his previously droll covered face.

"Its late. Can you please fucking come to bed." Karkat reasons with a more scratched up tone than the usual. Then proceeding to put a hand onto the back of the laptop slowly shutting it.

"Kk its fine, its not even that lat-" He starts his bluff only to be cut of by an unusually softer kiss from the cancer sign. Only after that does he notice said cancer had closed his laptop there for deleting all previous work from the last few hours hed have to go back and try to redue. Not that the work was mandatory but it still felt bad to lose it.

"Fuck- Babe i had so much shit on there i was almost done with why would you do that??" the Captor tiredly almost exhaustedly exclaims.

Too Solluxs unamusement his red quadrented nubby horned boyfriend says nothing but snatches his laptop setting it to the side and cuddling up to him only then allowing himself to speak through the sleep filling his body.

"Your dumbass fucking coding can wait for the morning or at least a few hours. Of course unless its more important to you then i am. If thats the case go right ahead and pick it back up, but if not id like my matesprites attention please." While Karkat started off with a more aggressive tone it slowly sinked into a softer one mainly due to the factor of his face being squished into the crook of his boyfriends neck.

Sollux now realizing hes a lot more tired then he had at first thought he started to drift off a little only letting an apology slip out with a smaller nod. Placing a hand on his grumpy but tired crab of a bf and threads his fingers through his hair with surprising ease and let himself sleep that being his last thought of that night.

NEXT MORNING

Sollux wakes up feeling a little colder than normal soon to realize he didnt have his quadrant cuddled up to his side at this point in time like he had became so easily accustomed too.

While this momentarily sent him into a panic it was quickly eased after hearing the voice of someone singing loudly to some random Taylor swift song near the kitchen.

He let himself get up putting on some slippers before groggily heading into the kitchen making sure not to forget his noise canceling headset knowing his boyfriend was letting his energy out throughout their shared home.

When he walked out he soon stumbled upon not only his belting partner in the kitchen dramatically dancing like no tommrow but also brewing some tea with two cups sat next to him on the counter.

He took this as a good opportunity to pay some well deserved attention to the shorter framed troll coming up behind him with a loose hug pressing a few kisses to the others jawline will a small buzzing noise known to be most popular when his captor was feeling extra affectionate.

Karkat a little startled at first but soon let it lead into a soft hum before turning around with a smile and kissing Sollux still softly mouthing some words to whatever song happened to be playing.

"Hmm,, why are you up so early. I was gonna try and make you some tea." The vantas said gesturing too the two cups and honey bottle knowing the other boy usually enjoyed the taste.

"Well i mean if you had wanted it too be a secret maybe screaming romance music in the kitchen at 8am isnt the best plan of action," Captor stated with a soft but playful grin laid across his face lisping the sentance out as he did with most of them esspically in the mornings.

Karkat let a small flush go too his face before shaking it off not having realized he was being that loud till now. "Okay fair point gog sorry i guess. But uh you still want the tea right?"

Sollux first gave a smirk that turned into a gentle laugh not bothering to search for a verbal response in his already overloaded brain instead turning too nodding.

The two spent the rest of the morning in the kitchen sipping their different styled teas.
