Nate sat rowing the boat quietly when he looked over at the faded blue haired boy who was 'peacefully' Sleeping on nates leg
He thought nothing of it until colby started shaking
Nate originally just thought he was cold so put his t-shirt over the boy to keep him warm
Nate went back to rowing still keeping an eye on colby.
He jolted up all of a sudden startling nate breathing heavy
"Hey its alright it was just a nightmare colby your alright" nate stopped rowing and rubbed his back
The blue haired boy was now on the verge of crying and couldn't explain what had just happened
"I- nate I don't wanna die" He finally said followed by a choke and a hot tear rolling down his face.
"Your not gonna die colby your alright just try to go back to sleep I'm right here man" Nate said as colby nodded laying his head back down before slowly closing his eyes
Nate had been rowing for about 2 and half hours before colby had woken up so he woke Alex up to row.
"Alex wake up its your turn to row" nate shook Alex as Alex adjusted his eyes to the new lighting
"Okay swap places with me then" Alex whispered as he held Colbys head up for nate to move.
Alex sat in nates place and nate did the same
"Colby had a nightmare while he was asleep and woke up so if he wakes up again just rub his back and tell him it's alright" Nate explained to Alex as he nodded.
Nate positioned himself to be comfier and slowly started to fall asleep. Soon enough nate had fallen fast asleep...
Nate watched in horror as colby screamed he felt guilty. It was all his fault they were there. If he had just told trey to fuck off this wouldn't have happened.
"COLBY" He heard Sams muffled scream.
Because of nate two brothers were about to be ripped away from each other.
Nate looked over at colby and saw the tears streaming down his face from the pain.
He bit down on the gag but it didn't help.
Nate sat up quickly and looked at the sleeping boys..
He had to protect them.. Colby and Sam and Alex were all like little brothers to him.. He wanted to keep them safe.
Alex hadn't noticed the long haired brune jolt up so he layed back down and tried to sleep again..
Something about this island wanted them to suffer. Nate was going to protect them. No matter the consequences.
