The helicopter ride was painful but relaxing.. They were going to be okay.. Colby could call his mom and dad.. Sam could call katrina they'd all be okay
Colby felt the blondes grip tighten around Colbys hand
He squeezed his hand back to tell Sam he's okay.
"HOW FAR OUT IS THE HOSPITAL?" nate shouted over the propellas
"ABOUT 10 MINUTES SIT TIGHT" Manuel the tour guide from earlier had said.
Colby moved a little bit groaning in pain he looked down at his wrists to see the rope burns from being tied up he was dehydrated and felt like he was gonna pass out.
"Fuck" He muttered
Sam rubbed the blue haired boys hand with his thumb as colby began to pass out..
He tried to keep himself awake but was to no avail.
*3 hours later in hospital*
Colby woke up god knows how long later in a hospital bed. Sam in the one next to him and nate and Alex sitting in the chairs asleep.
"ouch.." Colby murmed sitting up properly
"You had surgery on your leg.. I got surgery on my arm.. Broken in 3 places.. You broke your ribs in 2 and we all have a concussion" Sam muttered
"your awake? are you okay?" Colby spoke quickly.
Sam nodded "I'm okay I'm more concerned about you.. Where trey had stabbed you.. It cracked your bone in 4 different places said you could've bled out if I didn't wrap the shirt around you" He spoke once again
"I could've died.." The events of the past couple of days hadn't fully sunk in yet. He felt like he was reading a book or watching a movie..
"Oh- your awake I promised Id do this" Nate said handing colby his phone.. The only phone that survived the trip
Colby greatfully dialed his mom's number
Within 5 rings she picked up
"this is Mrs Brock speaking how can I help?" colby sighed in relief hearing his mom's voice again
"Mom- it's Colby...ill be home pretty soon.. Gonna take a break from LA and YouTube and come back to kansas... I'll explain everything when I'm home.. But I want you to know im okay and I don't look to great right now..." colby spoke with a raspy voice into the phone.
"Colby... What happened baby" His mom asked worried
"I'll explain everything back in kansas.. But its been one hell of a ride.." He coughed a little.
"I gotta go mom but I'll see you soon.. I love you so much" He finished his sentence.
"I love you too Colbear" she said and colby smiled before hanging up the phone.
He looked down at the burn marks once again before a tear fell out of his eye..
He almost died... He couldn't quite believe it... How the hell was his family going to believe it when he didn't believe it himself..
