Toni's POV

Over the next two weeks I've tried everything to get Cheryl's attention or to have her talk to me, but it was impossible. She just wouldn't acknowledge my existence, and she already considers me a freak for staring at her.

"Do you really not fucking remember me from high school?!" I couldn't contain my anger anymore.
She looked up at me from her computer, and made a puzzled face.
"Sorry, what did you say?"
She didn't even listen to me. I sighed and just let myself fall back on the sofa and practice deep breaths in order not to cry.

She stood up from her desk and made her way over to me.
She kneeled in front of my knees and looked at me. It was the first time she actually looked at me, without looking like she wants to murder me.

"What's wrong Ann?"
"Cheryl you can't even get my name right!" I cried out.
"Sorry, Antoinette. Why are you throwing a tantrum and why are you calling me by my first name?"
"Because."
"Because what?"
"Because you don't even remember me." I whispered.
She, once again, made that puzzled expression.
"Do you need a day off?"
"No..."
"Okay, why don't you take a nap and I'm sure you'll feel much better."
I just looked at her tiredly. I got tired of chasing after her, and she doesn't even understand it.

________________________________

I was talking to Stacy for quiet a long time, since Cheryl practically never needs me for anything, I'm just wasting my time. At least I'm getting paid.

She stormed out of the office without acknowledging me, nothing new, and went downstairs. I stayed talking to Stacy and it seemed like she was kinda into me.

As Cheryl was coming back, she saw me talking to Stacy and laughing at her jokes.
"Antoinette." Finally, get my name right.
"Huh?"
She pulled me by my arm towards her.
"Why are you not in the office?"
"I was talking to a friend and-"
"I need you."
She pushed me inside and locked the door.

"Umm...What do you need me for?"
"To sit still."
"But-"
"No buts. Weren't you throwing a tantrum today?"
"Yeah? And?"
"Sit still and rest then."
"But you don't need me for anything. You never do."
"Didn't you say I don't pay enough attention to you?!"
I started shaking.
"Yes. I mean-"
"How am I going to pay attention to you if you're not here?"
"Okay. Sorry."
"You're so annoying." She spat out.
"But why?"
"Cheryl." She ignored me.

"Again with the Cheryl and not Miss Blossom?" "Because you ignore me."
"Alright come here then."
I did as I was told and she gave me a million tasks to finish till the end of the day.
"Now you have something to do." She said as she rested on the sofa.

A few hours passed before I finished the tasks, and it was way past the end of the shift.

I looked outside and it was pretty dark.

"Miss Blossom. I'm finished."
"Great. It was about time."
"Umm Miss Blossom I'm scared to call a cab because it's la-"
"I'll drive you."
She went behind me and turned the computer off and I felt her breasts hit the back of my head.

Once we were inside her car, I started staring at her again.
"What Antoinette?"
I just smiled widely and took my phone out to have something else to look at.
She took my phone off my hands and asked me once again.
"Antoinette, what?" She pronounced it harshly.
"Nothing. I just find you pretty."
She studied me carefully.
"You look familiar."
I prayed to God that she'll remember me. But she couldn't figure it out.
"I'm probably just tripping, alright. Directions please."

Great.
