Emily's childhood was harsh, her dad was a former 3 time world championship winner but on august 29th 2010 on the spa race in belgium her dad crashed to the wall and caused the car to burst into flames, as she watched from her home in jakarta her mom rushed into the living room looking scared "mommy what happened with dad?" little emily asked she was too young to understand death i mean she was 10 at the time "its nothing to worry about honey, daddy is okay" she says as she kneeled down and hugging both of her kids. "are you sure mommy" russell the older brother of emily by 4 years asked "yea daddy is fine now cmon lets go to the airport" Ana the mom said while wiping her tears off her face
they all arrived at spa and went to the hospital and they saw Sebastian vettel and Michael Schumacher in the waiting area. "we'll take care of the kids" vettel said to ana while she nodded and run to one of the rooms. "come here you" schumacher said while hugging me, it was a tight hug "whatever happens you guys have to take care of mommy got it?" schumacher said to emily and russell "got it captain" russell said while doing a salute to schumacher.
after 3 hours emily had fell a sleep on vettel's lap. Russell saw his mom sobbing in tears while walking out of some doors. when she has arrive to vettel and schumacher she told them the news of Emily's and Russell's dad had passed away because of 3rd degree burns. Ana of course told the new to her children but only russell could possibly understand and emily just simply asked "so daddy died?" "yes honey but he's with us where ever you go" ana answered knowing that emily too young for all of this. "cmon lets go see your father" ana said while holding both of her hands and leading then to theyre dad's hospital bed.
while she was looking at her dad probably for the last time. she remembered the last time she ever talked to him it was trough skype 3 hours before the race "are you okay daddy?" emily asked her dad "im good honey" he responded while chuckled a little bit "okay we have to go because you have music lessons, say bye to daddy" ana said to her "bye daddyy" emily said "i love you" he said "i love you too daddy and with that, that was the last conversation she and her dad had made
