Chapter 3.

Asia POV
In the park, we were all chilling together having a ball of fun.
It was Jordan, Isaiah, Nyah(my best friend), & Ky.
"Stop Starin" I whispered to Nyah. She's always had a crush on Isaiah but never said anything. We laughed and of course we were interrupted. "Shut Up Fatty" Jordan yelled. "Who you calling a fatty, ugly ?" I said. Everybody else said "oooh" instead of him. "Y'all really think that's funny" He said. He was always sour after my comebacks. "Oh stop it Big Baby Jay Jay." I taunted. I ran over to him and squeezed his cheeks and everyone stayed laughing including myself. "What's so funny?" A Deep Voice Interrupted. We all turned our heads and saw it was Carter. "Can I help you?" I said. "Yea. You and ya cousin look mighty comfy together." He mumbled. "Whatchu say?" I questioned. "Nothin." He kissed his teeth. I rolled my eyes. "That's what I thought." I snapped back. "Come on Yall lets go to the store." I said . I grabbed Jordan's arm and walked away with the rest of us. Carter had such a dirty look on his face but I paid no mind to him, I was hungry. I ordered an Italian Hot Dog, and a buttered roll. I was starving. I got all my favorite snacks, Gushers, Frunas, Kettlecorn, & More. Thanks to the money my mother gave me. "Can you get me an Arizona please?" I asked Jordan. "Naa I'm ugly remember ?" He said. "Omg I'm sorry JayJay pleaseee. You know my favorite." I stuck my tongue out. "lucky I love you." Jordan mumbled. "What you say?" I asked. "I said you lucky you my best friend." he answered. I giggled. "Aww so sweet." I said.
We went to grab our sandwiches and went to go pay. $21.95 the register read. "Bruh yall so fat." Carter said as he walked in. Everyone laughed except for me. I just cut my eyes at him. I took the bag with my food in it and then went into Carter's car. Then my phone vibrated once I sat in the seat.
"why you leave?" The text read👀. It was Jordan. I wonder why he was so protective over me. Maybe it's a boy thing. "I just needa solve things w Carter before we end up like Tay & Tay." I sent. Carter opened the door and watched me text Jordan.

"What's your problem yo?" He asked. I just sat there I ain't have shit to say.

"Yo. I'm talking to you." He said while gently caressing my face.

"I don't have a problem Carter. You just be doing shit that makes me mad so, I'm not gone front no more--"

He cut me off & kissed me. I broke the kiss and continued my sentence.

"I'm going to just act like you. Do the same shit you do. Flip the script on you." I said. He just looked at me with the disappointed face. Usually I'd have pity for Carter, but I'm tired of him thinking he can do and say whatever he likes and I won't do anything about it.

"Look I know I'm not the best boyfriend. But I'm all you've got. All we have is each other." He said. He was begging me like I was going to end things. I wasn't going to. I know Carter's not perfect, hell no one is.

"Carter. Believe it or not, I choose to let you stay in my life. You know how I am. I'm never afraid to remove you or anyone else in my life. You really need to step you game up because I'm really serious." I yelled. I was getting upset because this always happens. He does something and then he crawls back to me begging for my forgiveness and I fall for it every time.

"Asia. You know what, I'm not even gone front. You can excuse yourself." He said while putting the key in the Ignition.

"Goodbye Carter." I waved while I stepped out the car.

"Bye." He yelled.

The sunset was so beautiful. And I had no one to enjoy it with. I walked towards the chicken shack and my friends were still there.

"Thank God" I thought. I went inside acting like nothing happened between Carter and I .

"You Okay?" Nyah asked.

"I'm okay." I chuckled nervously. I noticed Isaiah's arm around her , and winked. I've never seen my best friend smile so bright.

"You sure you don't wanna go ta--"

"It's Okay I got her." Jordan spoke up.

"Let's go." He grabbed my hand while walking out. My palms started to get really sweaty, I was really nervous now.

"Great Sunset huh?" He said nervously.

"Yeah Jay it's amazing." His hand touched my thigh. I whispered to myself ,

"He smells so good." I leaned my head on his shoulder and we talked the night away. It was getting late and cold so we got in his pick up truck and got blankets and laid there in the trunk.
We parked the car in a perfect spot to watch the stars, and it was so beautiful.
"You're so pretty." I read in my phone.
"Jay why'd you Text me if I'm right here. But aww thank you.😘"
I dropped my phone and we both came at it , trying to pick it up. Our heads knocked and we laughed.

At that moment our eyes met. And our lips locked. Such a passionate, and spark filling kiss. I had no regrets no reason why I should be worrying about Carter. Carter who ?
A peck moved into full blown making out, to the point where I was on his lap. After that moment. Jay broke the kiss.
" I can't do this he shook his head."

Sooo I know this was a short chapter and it took me so long to Update sorry guys😘. Anyways I'm working on a new book called Unexpected and the title literally explains itself. But I'll make sure to keep up with this book !
