Breathing hasn't come as easy as usual to you. You had been fine up until now. You haven't been able to do your day-to-day tasks. What made things worse is Levi would always make excuses to leave the house to meet up with his friends which you didn't understand why he couldn't just say that. Unless it was something more than that.. but you didn't bother paying attention to it. You've been thinking to go to the hospital for a check-up on the tumor but haven't been able to get up or do anything because your chest would just start hurting like immediately. Not even while moving, it just starts hurting for no reason.
You haven't told Levi about it because he probably wouldn't even care. Especially after the small argument you had with him not so long ago, it probably was best to not bring it up. Levi has been extra moody lately. Sure, he is always moody but he's been way more moody than he usually is. Probably because his business had started getting decreases in profit and investment.. it must be pretty tough for him so you didn't bother asking.
You guys also haven't talked much but it didn't matter to you. No need for conversation all the time. Though, it probably would be better..

You were lying down on white bed sheets, surrounded by white walls. A soft breeze is blowing through the partially open window. You kept staring at the ceiling, the window having caused your hair to blow. You were attached to this bed. There really is no movement, only inertia. You lacked the energy to move or eat. People were coming in and out, listening to the noise surrounding you. Wires were attached to various parts of your body. It appears that you had passed out and Levi had returned home to find you, assuming that the tumor had gotten to you. He phoned an ambulance to pick you up, and suddenly you were here. You being confined in this room, being force-fed through tubes. You don't understand why you can't move because it was merely a heart tumor. You also had blood rushing in because your blood arteries were blocked and moving irregularly. You were the only one in this room; everyone else has left. Levi didn't bother accompanying you to the hospital or checking in to see if you were okay.
'What a dick...' you thought, wishing Levi was here right now. Though, what do you expect from him. It's Levi we're talking about. At least you still had the scarf wrapped around your neck that he had given you.

"Y/N. Want to go meet some of the other patients here? They're around your age. They are stuck here for life." A nurse walked in holding a clipboard and one of her hands on a wheelchair.
"I guess. Though is the wheelchair necessary.."
"Yes honey, it is. You have been getting weaker."
"Alright.."
The nurse carefully helps you sit up and get into the wheelchair and the IV had wheels connected to it so you can still get the nutrients whilst you were there. The lady takes you out of your room and brings you to this small lobby area that had daisies in the corners and some small plants here and there. There was a circle of people surrounding the area. The nurse puts you between a gap in two people.
"Who the hell-" A blonde boy says who hair looked similar to Levi's. His eyes were a beautiful hazel color. The guy who you separated him from, had black hair that had a middle section that went nearly between his eyes.
"Reiner, nice." The black-haired male had said
"Fine Bertholt." 'Reiner' looks at you
"Who are you?"
"Y/n."
"Hello Y/n. The other guy is Bertholdt.. then we have Ymir, Marco, Porco, Colt.. yeah that's all." He said pointing to a girl with brown hair pulled back into a ponytail, a man that also had a similar haircut to Levi's, a guy with his brown-ish blonde hair slicked back and another blonde.. damn that's a lot of fucking blondes.
"Hey you all.." You were awkward that you had interrupted their conversation.
"So, what happened to you?"
"Heart Tumor. Passed out I'm assuming."
"damn." Reiner had said. Which sounded sarcastic.
"Why are you guys in here?"
"Diabetes." The Porco guy said.
"Tuberculosis." Colt said.
"Ischemic heart disease" Bertholt said.
"coronary artery disease." Ymir said
"Septicemia." Reiner had said.
"FFI... or Fatal Familial Insomnia." The Marco guy had said.
"Ah.. so all fatal.. so we all are going to die at some point..?" You fidget with your hands, well, kinda failing.
"Yeah." The girl with her hair tied back said blankly
"Marco has been here longest so...he'll die sooner or later."
"...Marco do you know Jean?" Marco looks at you with shock in his eyes
"Yeah! He used to be my friend.. until he learnt about my disease.."
"That bitc-"
"Don't cuss please." The nurse says then she walks out, making you sigh.
"I have a husband aaand he still hasn't visited me."
"damn.. what a jerk." Bertolt says
"I know right?" You roll your eyes

After a couple hours of talking, different nurses take you all back to your respective rooms. It was near the end of visiting time and you frowned, you haven't seen Levi all day!
That is, until someone walks into your room.
"Hey, Y/n." It was no other than Levi. That fucking asshole-
"Don't act all chill! I could've died and you never visited me asshole!"
".. I'm sorry." Levi looks at you
"You're a bitch.." Levi walks over to you and grabs onto your hand, but with you being an idiot, you shove his hand off and cross your arms. Levi sighs.
"At least I visited you, alright?! Stop being so petty!" He yells at you
"Oh, whatever! Fuck off!" and that is exactly what he did. He left, again. You look at your hands and tears are threatening to fall out. You shouldn't of spoken to him like that. It's too late now though..
