Chapter 21

NORMANI POV

I come face to face with Jorden. We both awkwardly smile at each other. Not knowing what to say.

"Hey... I-I honestly didn't think you were coming" He says scratching the back of his head. Breaking the silence.

"B-But come in... Y-You look amazing" He says while opening the door wider for me to walk through. To say I'm nervous is an understatement, I'm literally shitting bricks. I walk further in seeing a huge fort made in the living room. Then I see Megan and Jordan leaving out the kitchen with snacks in their hands, they say hi to me and I see the shock in Megans face. Surprised that I'm here.

"I brought some snacks... I didn't want to show up empty handed.. you know"

"Oh you didn't have to! We have plenty... but thank you though"

"I'll take it and bring it into the kitchen" Jorden says. As I hand the bags over to him I can't help but get nervous.. but oh gosh the smell of his cologne is intoxicating. I close my eyes reminiscing on how I would steal his shirts just so I could stay wrapped up in it. Smelling his scent.

I follow Megan and Jordan to the living room as we sit in the fort they made.
"So what movie are we watching?"

"Oh the new Disney movie Turning Red" Jordan says excitedly

"Ok cool. That movie looks SO good right?"
"It does!"

Jordan sits closer to me then whispers, "I'm happy you came.. I missed you so much"

I don't answer her back. Because if I do I know I'll start crying. I just kiss her forehead and smile, I miss her so much too.

MEGAN POV
She came, she literally came and I can't believe it. After everything, everything she's been through she still chooses to be with us. Loyalty is definitely in her vocabulary.

As we wait for Jorden to come into the living room, all of our dogs immediately rush in. And who do they attack... Normani of course. Cause just like we missed her, they missed her too. She lets out her famous giggle that automatically makes me smile, reminiscing on how I used to tickle her when she was in her headspace.

Constantly saying Mommy stop, but then grab my hands putting them back on her stomach so I can tickle her again. Yeah.... That was my baby.

Normani and Jordan lay on their stomach watching the movie. As I lean on Jorden who has his back on the couch. Both girls laughing among themselves, then at the same time look at me. I catch them doing it often, and I just laugh shaking my head as they do it. But I wonder what they are talking about though.

Four movies in and both of them are asleep. Cuddled up into one another, it sadly makes me think on how they were cuddled up the last time. When Jorden and I went to my appointment then to Belcalis and Kiari house. Not even answering Normani's calls or text. We treated her so wrong, and she still managed to love us unconditionally.

"Should we let them continue to sleep, or-" I start to ask Jorden but a phone ringing cuts me off. Knowing that it's not mines, Jorden checks his seeing that it's not his. It's Normani's. I lean over debating if I should check her phone. But the ringing stops, and then picks back up just as fast.

Shaking Normani so she'll get up, but to no avail. She's in a deep sleep. So I pick her phone up seeing message after message from Krisley. Just as I was about to text her, she's calling again.. so I answer.

"H-"
"Why the hell you not answering your phone Normani!!! I've been worried sick!! I'm not there and who knows what they would've been doing to you" she says going off
