The sound of splash could once again be heard in the pool. As someone had once again taken a jump into the cool pool. As before the sun was shining down on the person who took a moment to submerge only this time the person was Noah. As Hailey watched him kick his way toward her. She was once again sitting on the edge of the pool kicking her feet lightly in the water. Noah swam towards her with a certain look on his face. "Hey why don't you come in the water is great"
"To you but I would much rather stay on the dry surface rather than just get wet"
"As if you are just afraid that I will beat you in a water fight again"
"As if you wish"
"Then come in if you aren't afraid"
"Yeah right you wish"
"Fine if you won't do then I will make you", Noah said with a teasing smile.
"You wouldn't dare"
"Would I?"
"I swear to," Hailey had started to say but soon she felt Noah's arms wrap around her waist as they both drove into the water together. It took a moment for them to resubmerge and on her face was an unhappy look. "What the," she had started to say when a figure loomed over them.
"I swear and here I thought you would have gotten better since you joined high school. Yet here you are still cussing as ever"
"Hey at least I am not cussing around the kids so isn't that a win?"
"I suppose it is," Mr. Miller said with a sigh. What the two didn't see were what looked to be trouble signs on their teacher something they wouldn't find out until much later.
"So has something happened to them I blame Hailey"
"Real mature Noah", Hailey called.
"No, I saw a commotion and assumed it was the both of you"
"Not my fault Noah pulled me into the cold water against my will"
"Come on we both know you love me despite that"
"Sure whatever you like to tell yourself", Hailey said with a fond smile on her face. "On another note are you excited for the upcoming year?"
"Oh yeah you will be dealing with this one for an entire class", Noah said.
"Oh this coming from you," Hailey said as the two dissolved into another bickering match as usual. Mr. Miller seemed to be over as by the time the two had finished he was already gone.
"Speaking of Mr. Miller teaching do you think his teaching will be like it is in class?"
"What do you mean?"
"I mean if I recall didn't he wear a black table cloth as a cape for the entirety of a class. Plus he does have a tendency to talk about Batman every once in a while doesn't he?"
"Come on have more confidence in him I am sure he's going to be great as he always is"
"Says the guy who practically worships the ground he stands on"
"You exaggerate"
"I don't"
"Anyway, are you hungry because I am?"
"You are just trying to avoid the fact that you don't want to talk about how much you worship Mr. Miller"
"Am not"
Hailey let out a smile. "Sure whatever you say," she said. As Noah got up out of the pool and Hailey stood up as well. They went searching for the kids after not finding them Hailey just raised her voice. "Hey if you are with us those who have money come with us", Hailey said with a raised voice. As a flock of children came with them as they were soon trying to handle them. Once they got the kids who had the money they lead them back to the place with their towels and allowed them to gather their money. While they were waiting Hailey leaned lightly onto Noah's shoulder while letting a yawn.
