Surprises's to me

Lair!!

One month has passed since we first kiss, and now everyone at The Maple's include our close knitted group knows that Jena and I are a couple. Well... this is because when I see Jena I can't stand it! So I end up staring at her... My friends describe it as, 'those sparkling eyes.' At first I was scared to let people to know, but I guess this is the 21st century. People seem to be more open about same sex relationships. Now we are all sitting together at the restaurant, this includes Cathy, Carlet, and Maple. They love teasing me when Jena go to serve other people, they say stuff like, 'Look over there, your lover is flirting with the customers', or when she comes toward us to serve us, they go 'get your own room.' Which is funny at times but annoying at the same time, but I guess is the fun off it.

Anyway, back on track. Today I am so happy that we are meeting up after work. I got so excited that I end up half an hour early at 'The Maple'. There was not much I can do waiting at the front door so I end up going into the alley way. Maybe I can see her working in action! As soon as I enter into the ally way I see Jena's shadow holding a bag of rubbish facing towards the wall to place the rubbish down. At this moment I was thinking it will be funny to pounce on her scare her. That will be funny. So... I slowly tiptoe towards her like a hunter catching its prey. As I inch closer I notice she is on the phone, 'oh! I should wait a bit and pounce on her when she finishes,' as I thought that and start to move back out of the alley way I heard her conversation, "Yes sir, I have found the drug dealer. We have more evidence to prove that they sell drugs at the restaurant."

What? What is she talking about? What restaurant? The Maples? No way? What? i froze, I can't believe this. I can't breathe. Pant pant. Jena quickly turns around from my sound of my heavy breathing. She looks shock and surprised and she drops her hand down. She opens her mouth and said, "Silver, did you hear everything?"

"What is this about Jena?"

"Did you hear everything?"

"WHAT IS THIS ABOUT JENA!" I shouted to her as I really wanted to know the truth. What the hell is happening.

Jena gently said,"Is not what you think, calm down." And she slowly walk towards me and hold my hand. I don't want to touch her, I fling her hand away. "I am sorry I lied to you. I will tell you the truth." She looks around and drag me more into the alleyway. It is very dark now and I can't see a thing, I can just see the outline of her features. She continues what she said before, "I am a undercover police."

"WHAT? undercover?"

"Yes, I am sorry. I came here to research about..." she paused and look around again and whispers into my ear, "..drugs" and she move back her head to her original position.

"right..." I pause and start to think... then why did she come close to me? I can only find one answer. "you lied to me. And you think that my friends sell drugs! How can you! I hate you. And and... why did you approach me? Was I an easy target to come to and get more information about Maple and her restaurant? You used me!!"

"What? listen!"

"No!! I don't want to listen! I get it, that is why you said that you love me back so quickly!" at this point of time nothing can change my mind, I am so angry now! my mind is clouded with anger.

"What? why you think so negatively?"

"I am not! You did! Because you always ask about Maple every now and again! You approach me because you wanted to get more information!"

Jena stays silent... She is not denying of the things I am saying. Then... that means is true.  I can't take this.  "I don't want to do anything with you!" I burst into tears and run off. In the background I hear her shouting, "SILVER! IS NOT LIKE THAT!"
