[COMPLETED] Drarry | A Change

Chapter 16

"Malfoy-" Harry started. After yesterday's talk, it seemed that Malfoy had become more... Competent. Harry crossed his arms. Malfoy irritated-ly pursed his lips. "It seemed that I was so used to being called 'Malfoy' because it's not anymore. It's 'Black' " Harry frowned. Since when did Mal- Black change his surname? Weird... No one said anything of it. "What do you mean? Ho- When?" Harry bit his tongue. M- Black clicked his tongue and shrugged. "Just did. Last week or so. Never told anyone. Muggle ways, don't know how my name's in the muggle records too. But 't's fine, as long as I can not be a Malfoy again," Black gave Harry a weak smile. Why wouldn't he want to be a Malfoy? No, Harry shouldn't jump into conclusions - not everyone's lives is as seen. Even Harry doesn't have the prefect life others think he has.

"He~llo! Draco... Harry... What'cha up ta?" Astoria squealed. One thing about Astoria is that she's unbelievably cheerful in the mornings. " Hello, Ria. Would you mind if I bring Mother over later next week to visit the Greengrass'?" The next line was pretty shocking and Black winced. "Just a fellow warning but mum doesn't remember any of you... I might've obliviate-d her... And it went wrong..." Astoria didn't mind and took Black's hand. "It's fine, we can reintroduce ourselves to Cissy! Hehe. Oh, and Seth's getting married next month!" Astoria clapped. Harry looked between Black and Astoria. "To who? Was he the one who proposed?" Harry smirked triumphantly. Astoria laughed and bit her tongue. "Shockingly, yes. He proposed. And as to proposed to who... It's Millicent! Isn't it great? Oh I'm so glad to see her again!" Millicent? As in Millicent Bulstrode? That's a bit shocking. Wonder when Sethen met Bulstorde. What's more shocking is how cheerful Astoria is compared to when she was at Hogwarts. Was Hogwarts that depressing? Black gave Astoria a small chuckle and patted her on the head which Astoria snuggled in to.

Harry quite enjoy the two's interaction and very much envied their relationship. After the War, Harry broke up with Ginny as he felt that he was forcing himself to like Ginny. In truth, he only treated Ginny like a younger sister and was never anything more. It was a pity for such a wonderful girl like her. But nonetheless, they're relationship after that didn't distance and they grew much closer instead. "Millicent Bulstrode? I haven't seen her after... You know, nor at Hogwarts last year either. And you as well, Black. How did you become a Healer if you missed your N.E.W.T.s and O.W.L.s?" At this, Black tensed physically, and maybe also mentally as when Astoria and Harry called to Black, he didn't respond at all. It wasn't until Sethen came through the door and called for the three did Black come back to reality.

For the rest of the day, Black hardly spoke to anyone, even Sethen. Black purposely avoided them as much as he could. Harry felt bad for prying into Black's personal life but he didn't mean to, he didn't know that it would affect him so much. Harry braced himself and proceeded to go and apologize to Black. He stood from the lunch table, bid goodbye to the two cousins and went to find Black.
