Chapter 1: The Mysterious Tweet

(Jimin’s pov)

It all started because of that one tweet that i came across nearly two years before transferring to Sangju highschool, the reason why we are in this terrifying situation right now. I wish I could go back in time to stop myself from reading it. I know past cannot be changed but in our case it's nearly impossible to change future as well. Future is decided. We are going to die.

Back in 2014 when we graduated the middle school, we decided to live on our own. Only education up to middle school was available at our previous school so we had to transfer schools for higher studies. Two things which were common among us 4 friends were that we all had strict parents and we all were interested in paranormal. So me, Rosé, Jungkook and Lisa decided to step in the outer world to live independently.

Few days after the graduation, we gathered to to select the high school.

“I'm so confused which school we should pick. There are many great schools and all but none of them actually interests me”, Jungkook said disappointedly while going through the list of schools

“The only schools which can interest us are haunted schools whose admissions are still open lol” said Rosé

“And it's impossible cuz all haunted schools are already adandoned.. we should stop running after a false hope and think about our future” Lisa replied immediately.

“Yeah true”

“Wait guys i think i know such school which is haunted but not abandoned!” I said after remembering a tweet

“No way! Stop joking around Jimin we have to be serious right now”

“No Chaeyoung! I'm not kidding! I really saw a tweet about this school called Sangju highschool in Sangju whose one of the floor is said to be haunted!” I grabbed my phone immediately to show them the tweet,

“I read it two years ago. However now that i am searching for it, i can't find the tweet, not even that account which tweeted it!” I said while still searching for the tweet.

“Maybe they deleted the account or their account got suspended?” claimed Lisa with a confused expression on her face

“Or maybe the school sued the account owner for defamation because spreading such rumour might result in damage of school’s reputation.” said Jungkook

“But it's strange how everything is normal about this school, like no mention of paranormal activities in reviews or anything” Rosé said while checking the reviews of the school.

“Maybe they managed to suppress the rumour and now no one knows about it?” I said

“Whatever the reason, this is the closest we can get to an unabandoned haunted school! so we should pick this one” Lisa suggested with sparkles in her eyes showing her excitement.

“I'm up for it!” Jungkook agreed

“Count me in” Rosé approved the idea

“Me too! I'm so excited!” I exclaimed thinking that we would finally be able to investigate the paranormal while being in school.. None of us had a slightest clue what was waiting for us at Sangju. We were about to experience something extremely terrifying and I'm not even exaggerating it.
