Chapter 3: A New Friend(?)

The next day immediately, all four Lisa, Rosé, Jimin and Jungkook got their part time jobs to make money for their living. They started living a normal life at Sangju and also began preparing for their highschool.

One week passed and today's the first day at their highschool. Everything was strangely normal at Sangju highschool. However fate separated the group of four. Lisa & Jungkook were in class 1-A whereas Jimin & Rosé were in 1-B. They were introduced in their respective classes.

(Lunch break)

Jimin was seated near the window. He was packing his bag when he saw a boy approaching him. He was Min Joonwoo, another transferred student. A slender tall boy with dark brown hair and eyes. He was the only transferred student besides our four protagonist in the entire class.

"It seems we both are new to this school. We should get along!" Joonwoo said streching a hand of friendship towards Jimin

"Ofcourse buddy!" Jimin exclaimed,"Also where are you from? I'm from Seoul btw"

"I'm from Daegu! We both are from big cities huh?" Joonwoo was glad to know there was someone like him.

"Btw Can i ask you something?" Joonwoo asked

"Go ahead!"

"That blonde" he pointed towards Rosé,"Is she your girlfriend? I saw you hanging out with her before. I'm kinda jealous!"

Jimin got flustered and even blushed a little

"N..no it's not t..true!" He declined,"She's one of my three childhood friends. We all transferred to this school together."

"Ohh ok! If that's not the case, would you set me up with her, i have got a little crush on her yk!" Joonwoo revealed his feelings

Jimin saw where this conversation was going. However setting up one of his closest bestie with a stranger was a straight no! So he decided to change the convo.

"Btw I have heard that this school is haunted! Is it true? Do you know anything about it?" Jimin asked in an attempt to change the direction of convo

Joonwoo looked a little shocked after hearing the question.

"Come with me"

He took Jimin to a place where no one can hear them

"Thank God you asked this to me first! Don't ever ask such question to any other classmates! They might get too scared and distance themselves from you!" Joonwoo warned him

"So is it true?"

"I'm not sure but i have heard the third floor of the school building is haunted! People are so scared that the third floor and even the roof is untouched since 9 years."

"Even roof?"

"Yeah. One has to pass from the third floor to reach the roof so it's abandoned as well! Again I'm not sure if it's haunted"

"You also mentioned since 9 years? What happened 9 years ago?"

"I have no clue" Joonwoo told Jimin everything he knew about the school

"Can you show me that floor?"

"It's impossible! The school has banned anyone from even climbing the stairs after 2nd floor and we can't go against the rules so it's not possible!" Joonwoo rejected Jimin's idea

"Ohh ok! Thanks for the info!"

"You didn't answer my question yet. Would you set me up with Rosé?" Joonwoo reminded him of the little convo they had a while ago

"Well.. we will discuss about it later, let's get back to the class or we will be punished" Jimin managed to avoid his question

(After school, at their apartment)

Jimin told everyone about all the things related to Sangju highschool that he and Joonwoo discussed.

"Interesting! Now we know where to find our dear ghosts! I'm so excited!" Lisa exclaimed happily

"There's no way we can enter 3rd floor in daylight in presence of all school staff, we have to do it at night!" said Rosé

"Ok then, Let's investigate the third floor tomorrow!" said Jungkook

The next day when they reached the school, everyone has gathered on the ground of the school. The four didn't have a clue what happened so Rosé decided to ask a student,

"Hey, What happened? Why has everyone gathered here?"

The girl replied,"Do you know the new transferred student named Min Joonwoo?"

"HE HAS PASSED AWAY"
