Chapter 1 - Marissa pov

'Ugh... Why does my head hurt so bad? Wait where am I?It looks like I'm in a strawberry field.Hmm... Quite odd...Ok let me look at my situation.I am here in a strawberry field with no memory of where I came from,I only remember my name, Marissa. At least I know how to talk and live like a normal person."I said while standing up and brushing off the dirt on my jeans.

"Miss are you ok?"I look up and see a girl and a guy around my age looking at me questionably."Actually no I'm not...Where am I?"I said looking at them. I made some quick observations.The girl was a red head. She was taller than me but had this perfect model look to her.Next, the guy was a brunette. He was the tallest out of us three. He looked very strong but agile as well."Well you are at Camp Half-blood but I don't know how you got here if you don't know what this place is." the girl said. Camp Half-blood? That is a weird name for a summer camp...."Anyways my name is Vela and this guy over here is my friend named Malachi."She said. "and what is your name?"I had to think about it for a second. I didn't forget my name but I did not want to use it at the moment,I can't trust anyone right now."My name is Molly"i said."Well nice to meet you Molly,who is your godly parent?"Malachi said."MALACHI!!!"Vela slaps him across the face."I am sorry about him, he can be blunt at times." No I was just asking a question!"he said.

"Godly parent???"I was so confused. Do they believe in gods?"Oh umm I will answer that later but may I ask you how you got here?"she said."I am going to be honest....I have no idea how I got here,I woke up a few minutes before you got here with no memory of who I am.I only remember my first name...."I looked at them and they once again seemed concerned.Vela then grabs my arm and starts pulling me along"I want to take you to meet someone named Chiron he will know what to do!""Ok I don't really have a choice anyways."

We walked for a little bit until we reached our destination.We walked in to a big farm house. I see this centaur standing across the room.At the time I didn't know what a centaur was called so I said"A HORSE MAN?"to be honest he looked appalled. "Hello my name is Chiron and I am a centaur thank you very much."he said.So we had this whole conversation about the fact that greek gods and deities are real.According to him I am a child of one of those gods due to the fact that I was able to get in to camp. He explained that this is the only safe place for people like me and he is considered my guardian because we don't know who my mortal parent is.So now I have to live here until I am 18."Molly now you must follow me to your cabin.You most likely stay there for long because eventually your godly parent will claim you.I am going to take you to the Hermes cabin for the time being."Vela said.I follow her to the cabin area and there is many cabins. Some with more people than others.We went in to the Hermes cabin and I claimed a bunk for myself.Vela told me to clean myself up and then chill out there."When you hear a horn blown follow everyone else to the pavilion where we eat dinner.When you get there find me so we can eat together!"she said."Ok I will see you later then."

She left and I took a shower and changed in to an orange Camp Half-blood t-shirt and some jeans.As soon as I walk out of the bathroom I hear a horn so I followed everyone and got to the pavilion.I got my food and sat down with Vela and Malachi."So I guess we should tell you about ourselves.Well I am a daughter of Aphrodite and I am 14 years old."said Vela."and I am a child of Apollo and I am 15"Malachi said."Cool well I am not sure who my godly parent is but I am 13 years old."I said.We continued to talk until we had to get back to our cabins.I finally laid down on my bed and started to think about all the events that had happened today.I was happy that I made friends but I was longing to know who I was before I got here.

A/N: Welcome to the first chapter of this book! I am so excited and have so many ideas for this story line! I definitely could not write this without the inspiration of Rick Riordan. Like i said in the description Camp Half-blood was his idea and I am just basing this off of his series'. I hope you like the book so far! Next chapter will be written in a girl named Bella's pov. I am trying to keep the upload schedule of posting one or more chapters on Friday's but my schedule is often weird so we will see.Anyways have a lovely day/night!
