Percy walks with Annebeth along the beach at New Rome. Percy playfully splashes her trying to get her onto a good mood, but that seems to just annoy her more.

"Percy I think we need to talk." She tells him looking at him.

He frowns knowing whats coming. He knew its been coming. "Okay." He mumbles staring at the ocean.

She sighs. "I love you Percy really just. I think its more of a sibling love. I want to stay your friend though if thats ok."

Percy grins. "Yeah, I know what you mean. I feel the same just. I wanted us to last ya know. But I think friends is the best thing to do..."

Annabeth hugs him. "Are you going to be ok?"

Percy noda and gives her a squeeze. "I think some lunch will cheer us up." He mumbles stepping away.

She nods and leads the way looking more relaxed now that she go that off her chest.

Percy follows still sad that they broke up. He really wanted to make it work, but he knows its whats best.

Aphrodite smirks and goes to find Apollo. She knows hes not visiting any of his new demigod friend, or Sally Jackson today (probably the first adult mortal hes hung out with and hasnt had a kid with in decades, is her food really that good? Or is it thay adorable baby girl?)

She find him in his horses stables feeding them treats and putting them away since he just finished his sun jurny. "Hello Apollo. I have some information for you that i think youll like." She tells him smirking playfully.

He looks at her. "Did Meg get heartbroken by that tree? I swear if-"

"No its not Meg. Besides shes a a young girl shes bound to get heartbroken a few times you cant go smiting every being that does. Its Percy."

He blinks. "Percy?"

Aphrodite nods. "Yes. Him and Annabeth broke up."

"Oh." Apollo says thoughtfully. "And your telling me this because?"

I thought this would be alot easier. Lester may have made him more human but definitely no smarter. Aphrodite thinks to herself. "Well youve gotten awfully close to the seven this past year, I figured youd be good to talk to Percy. Give him a shoulder to cry on."

"You think hell talk to me?"

She nods. "Any way I have some buisness to take care of." She says and struts away leaving Apollo to think.

Apollo frowns and finishes taking care of his horses, even though they dont need to be taken care of he does enjoy doing so.

"Percy and Annabeth... do you think this is a trap?" He asks the horse.

But alas its a horse. So. It dosnt talk.

"Well he is my friend. So. Ill talk to him..." Apollo tells the horse getting once again no response.

Apollo appears in New Rome making himself look 19 with curly blond hair and blue eyes, thats how he normally makes himself look when visiting camps, and goes to find Percys appartment.

When he knocks on the door Percy answers looking like he has been crying.

"Apollo? What are you doing here? Um. Come in I guess." Percy mumbles stepping aside to let the god in.

Apollo looks around and notice Percy has taken to eating some blue cookies and icecream. "So... Aphrodite told me that you and Annabeth broke up."

"Of course she knew." Percy groans. "Yeah. The past few months have been hard on us." Percy says falling onto the couch and picking a cookie up. "Things were great at first but. Then it was just one problem after another. We both figured it wasnt romantic love we were feeling. We decided to stay friends."

Apollo sits next to him noding. "Did your mom make those?" Percy nods and offers one to the god who takes it happily. "Well im sorry things didnt work out. We all thought it was forever. Is there anything I can help you with?"

Percy shrugs and frowns at his empty carton of ice cream. "You can summon me more ice cream." He mumbles jokingly tossing the carton back onto the table.

Apollo summons some and two spoons. "Maybe if you share Ill let you have it." He teases.

Percy laughs and nods. "Sure we can share. I wouldnt mind you staying here for a bit, if you would like to and have nothing better to do."

Apollo grins. "Ill stay for as long as you want me."
