The Deal

"Phew, The Crowds're finally dying down atleast" Jack said handing me his Apron. I nodded giving him a small smile.

'Atleast it's over right?" He nodded scratching the back of his head. Floyd walked over taking our Aprons from my hands.

"You practically put that rush in a headlock and gave it a noogie! 'Preciate the helping hand, Little shrimpy and Pal!" He grinned. I blushed and scratched the back on my head.

'Sure... no prob" I sighed and Jack stood up straighter glaring at Floyd Tiredly. I kinda get what they were doing now. Get us Tired and we're less likely to put up a fight. Azul walked out smiling.

'You got a veritable Madhouse of Customers under control. Most impressive indeed" Jack moved so I was behind him. I was starting to feel like a Puppy hiding under it's parent here.  Maybe I had just been in Crewel's Class to long. Jack glared at Azul.

"Azul!" He snarled. I put a hand on his arm trying to stop him.

"Jack, Keep your cool" I muttered. He took a breath and nodded but continued to glare.

'My Apologies for the wait. The VIP room is ready now. Right this way, if you would" He said Motioning to us to follow. He looked at Jade and Floyd as we passed.

'Jade, Floyd. Get our Customers some tea" He said The Twins nodded watching us walk away.

"Right away, Sir" They said Mechanically. I turned one last time and saw the Two Smirk as they watched us walk away with Azul. Something didn't feel right. Azul walked us to the back and into a room that was covered in books and had a large Safe against a wall. Azul walked over to a couch sitting down and motioned us to sit in the Other. 

"What is this place? Are we really still on school Property? Look at that huge vault. It's like some kind of Bank" Jack muttered to me looking around. I walked over to the Couch and gently sat down.

"Alright, That's enough Rubbernecking. Please have a seat" Azul said to Jack who walked over and sat with me. I thought I saw a slight eye brow Twitch but it could just have been my Imagination running wild. It was kind of.. Creepy being in this Windowless room. Once we were seated Azul crossed his legs.

"So, What would you like to discuss with me?" He asked. I sat up straighter and looked at Azul in his eyes. Looking someone in the eye was an Indicator you weren't afraid of them... or atleast that was what I read in a self help book once.

"I'd like for you to free the Students you've Indentured to you" I said hopping I sounded as Brave as I tried to look. Azul chuckled to me smiling brightly.

'Goodness me. That's quite the demand to make right out of the gate. You would ask me to release all 225 students from their contracts with me?" I blinked surprised. Damn it Crowley. What the hell! Why did he indenture so many students this year? Was it this many last year??

"You Bamboozled that many people?! That's nuts!" Jack blinked just as Surprised as I was. Azul simply smiled not fazed at all by our shock.

'Yes, Well, Jade and Floyd did a bit of Proactive market outreach this year. Thanks to that, I've had no shortage of Clients ready to strike up deals with me." He chuckled before his face turned more serious.

'Now, Yuu- as for your request to free these students. I am not forcing them to labor under undue duress. They made a contract with me, and they willingly consented to the terms laid out in writing. Contracts are ironclad agreements not subject to intervention form outside parties on any emotional basis. "Poor, Unfortunate souls" They are not." I nodded.

"To put it more Bluntly: Your Protestations will avail you nothing. No mater how much you might kick and scream" I nodded.

'I understand that. That isn't why I came. If I was going to cause a Fight to brake out I would have had more then Just Jack and I today. Instead I didn't. I just came with a Friend" Jack narrowed his eyes at me. I didn't look at him urging him to just play along. We weren't really friend friends. More like Acquaintance Friends.
