~ Tommy POV ~

March, 18th, 2022

The School prom (Imma just call it prom lol) is on the 20th and im planning on asking y/n soon. probably today or tomorrow.

Y/n and i have been dating for over a month, and its been the best month ever. we always go on walks together, get milkshakes to share, and take the bus home from school together.

im at home, on vc with tubbo and wilbur, "Guys, i wanna ask y/n out to my college dance on the 20th, gimmi idea on how to ask her!" i yell at both of them, desperate for ideas.

"Isn't she your girlfriend? don't you kinda just go by default?" tubbo asks "NO, TUBBO. sorry.. the thing is, i'm not sure if she's interested in going... so i don't know how to ask her."

"Mate, just ask, 'Are you interested in going to the college dance?'" wilbur suggests. "No, cuz i want it to be heartwarming, romantic, not just a casual question!" i shout.

"why not leave a note at her desk, or in her bag? there are lots of cool ways man, but your not in highschool anymore so don't be too cringy." tubbo laughs, and wilbur joins in on the laughter.

"ugghhhhhhh!" i shout throwing my hands over my eyes. "OH! i have an idea!!! i'm gunna go work on it. talk to you later, kings!" i shout again and leave the call.

i wasn't really going to work on it cuz i had to do it at school, but i did start to plan a little.

~ Y/n POV ~

Tommy and i have been dating for over a month and i'm happier than ever. i don't want anything to change.

the school prom is on the 20th and im secretly hoping tommy asks me soon. im not sure that if because we're dating, means we just go without being asked, but i hope tommy starts talking about it soon.

before i go to bed, i send tommy a goodnight text like always. he says goodnight but then starts typing again, Weird, he usually just says goodnight then goes to bed..

Finally his texts delivers, 'I have to be at school early tomorrow for some extra work, so i can't take the bus with you, sorry :( i love you goodnight<3' huh a little weird but understandable.

'Alright its all good, i love you too, goodnight<33' i send back and drift off to sleep.

~ Tommy POV ~

March, 19th, 2022

once i get to school at 8:30 (school starts at 9:30) i head inside to work on how im going to ask y/n to the dance.

~ Y/n POV ~

i get to school at 9:28 and start walking inside, my first class is coding, the best class.

i walk into the class room to see tommy sitting at our spot working on the computer. "Hey!" i greet him as i sit down. "Hey! How was your sleep?" he asks taking his attention off the computer in front of him.

"Pretty good, when did you get here?" i laugh. "oh uh, i think like... 8:30?" he say "dude! thats early! why did you even need to be here that early???" i asked a little shocked at how early he was here just for some 'Extra work'

he laughs " its fine, i just had to do some extra work for a project in my film and tv class."

"alrighttt" i chuckle. i turn on the computer in front of me just to see a window pop up on my home screen that says,  'Go To The Dance With Me? <3'

my face heats up and i laugh, "tommy...." i look at him he looks at me nervous. "..w-well?" he stutters. "You fucking idiot, of course i will!" i hug him and he sighs in relief.
