~ Y/n POV ~

im partnered with Tommy?? damn that pick me is gonna be maaaadd.. "everyone go sit with your partners. you can talk about the project for the rest of the period. don't start any coding though." the teacher announces as i go to sit in the empty seat next tommy.

"wait... YOUR Y/n?" tommy asked confused. i nodd. "well alrighty" he says trying to bring the mood up. "By the way, I'm really sorry about that girl the other day. She likes me and thinks we're dating but were not, and I don't know how to get her away from me." He says.

 Well, I guess they're not a cringe middle school couple. "It's cool, thanks for apologizing tho, you didn't really doing anything tho haha." we talk for the rest of the block about the project, finding out the theme, storylines... and that's really it, i got really nervous , i kinda starting giving short answers, and only asking short questions. it was just scary talking to someone at school since i never do it.

~ Tommy POV ~

y/n and i decided that we would go to my house tomorrow and a few days after to work on the project so we could do whatever during class time. she gave me her number so we could contact each other about the project.

i noticed that she was anxious about something, maybe she doesn't talk much. i mean, i've never seen her around campus before, so it makes sense. i started overthinking it. Like, what if she doesn't like me, or thinks i'm weird? i try my best to snap out of it, and walk home

~ Y/n POV ~

the day went on like normal, going to the rest of my classes and went home just to see sapnap getting ready for a stream.

"hey sap, what's goin on" i ask walking in his room. "nothing much, just setting up for a stream, how was school?" he askes. i tell him about tommy and my big project. "huh, i know a tommy, speaking of which, i know you really want to, so do you wanna join my stream? you can't show your face though."

 my face lit up. "really?? yes of course!" I smile while having excitement stims by jumping up and down and shaking my hands. he smiles and nods and starts up the stream

sapnap hands me a black mask and a pair of sunglasses. "what the hell are these for??" i ask confused. "you don't want your face on the internet do you?" he asks with his stupid grin. "fine" i say snatching the accessories out of his hand and put them on.

he has his face cam on, but i'm out of frame on a stool next to him. he does his introduction and join that minecraft server.

 "oh anddd, my sister is here today, say hi." he says looking at me. "Hi, chat!" i say joyfully scooting into frame. he gets in a call on discord, and other people start to join. i didn't recognize most of them, only dream. he gives me an ear bud so i can listen to everyone.

someone in chat called me 'sapster' a mix of sapnap and sister. i thought it was funny, so that was my name to everyone on the internet now i guess.

they chat and mess around on the server for a while when sapnap stops the stream and everyone in the vc starts talking about a video they're about to record. i whisper to sapnap what they're talking about. "were going to record a video with you, your gunna play minecraft for the first time." he says with a smile. i smile i grab a small chair that's more saps height and pull it in frame of the camera.

we play for a bit having a lot of fun when, i couldn't see something on the screen so i took the glasses off for a sec out of habit to look at something. Sapnap smacks the glasses back on my face. "Keep them on" he laughs, "Ack!" i shout. everyone in the vc laughs and we continue playing.

after an hour or so we finish recording and i go to sleep feeling extremely tired from all the yelling and talking. i almost never talk at school. only at home, and i don't even talk that much at home, so this felt weird. i fall asleep almost instantly.

~ Time Skip To Morning :) ~

November, 10th, 2021

I have to walk to school in the rain. its not that heavy, just a little sprinkle so its not thaaat bad. i get to school go through my classes, and then at lunch i decide to walk home to get my lunch, since i forgot it this morning.

once i get back to school after lunch i go to my second last class of the day, coding class. i sit down in the seat i was in yesterday. tommy's a little late.. where is he? ]

the bell rang 3 minutes ago and everyone's starting to work now. after another 5 minutes tommy runs in the class soaking wet, looking like he just got out of the shower.

he apologizes to the teacher and runs to sit next to me. "what happened?" i ask laughing a little. "oh, i went home for lunch and on the way back it started raining really hard." He explains embarrassed. i started laughing and he throws his wet blue rain jacket on my head.

"HEY" i yell laughing throwing it back at him. "Y/n and tommy! please be more quiet!" the teacher yells at us. "Sorry!" i say and she nodded giving me an 'its okay' kinda look.

i look at tommy giving him a fake mad look at him, he looks sad, thinking im serious so i just mess up his wet hair even more that it already is. we both start giggling quietly remembering the teacher told us to be quiet. 

tommy ends up grabbing my hands and leaning in really close to me, almost touching. "we should probably get to work." he says with the softest, calmest voice i've ever heard. 

i feel my face heat up like crazy, caught off guard by his random mood change i give him an awkward smile a little and nod, he smirks and backs up and starts to work.

by the time the bell rings to go to our last class we finished a small section of the work. "i'll meet you by the front doors after school, okay?" i nod and he walks away to go to his next class.

as im leaving i see that emilia girl by the front door waiting for tommy. im walking right behind tommy.

 As i pass them she kicks her foot out tripping me. my face hits the ground, hard and tommy is quick to help me up. 

"tommy! what are you doing?! let her suffer!" he gives her a death glare and helps me up. "oh my god, y/n! your nose is bleeding." we pulls one of those mini packs of tiny tissues and gives me one.

"thanks.." i say covering the blood with the tissue. "no problem. you sure your okay? we can go to the nurse if you ne-" "im fine" i cut him off "uh- i have to go to class now.. see you after school?" i say not wanting to be late. 

"oh, uhm.. yeah.. yeah of course." he says sounding kind of sad. oh god did i offend him. was i too mean? i start panicking as i walk. i turn around to see him staring at me. i smile at and wave. and i receive one back from him.

~ Tommy POV ~

She hates me doesn't she. did i go overboard with asking if she's okay over and over??? i over think, but try to just brush it off "see? She doesn't like you, don't talk to her anymore." Emilia says all cocky. I roll my eyes and head to my next class with her. she's yelling at me the whole way to stay away from y/n. i try to explain to her that we have a project together but she couldn't care less.
