Chapter 6

Three days later...
I woke up to see my room made a mess. I stood up and saw my glass mirror in shatters my clothes everywhere. everything was broken just like myself. I tried to clean up a bit but nothing worked. I turned and looked at my wall and saw a picture of my family and I, we were together, happy, we were a family. I went quickly to my closet to see more pictures on a box. I quickly grabbed the box and looked at it. Alex graduation, his prom, our graduations, our birthdays, picnics, family gathering. now it all ended and the only family was Luke Chris and I. no more waking up in the mornings with the scent of my moms pancakes no more ridiculous Alex and his not funny jokes no more waking up with dad and his stupid stories that made us laugh. no more family. went for my black jeans, black shirt, and black blazer I took the to the shower with my undergarments. I took a quick shower and grabbed my razor. I put the razor on my wrist and slid the cuts weren't bad they were nothing compared to what I had been doing while taking a shower I thought of something

*flashback*
Alex: come on Stef move those legs of yours
Me: Alex you know me I don't like to move
Alex: please
Luke: come on sis
Me: Luke stop not thinking about this
Luke: I am trying to keep my mind away from it so you don't read my mind
Chris: come on sis
I ughed and stood off my bed and went towards my brother. Alex carried me bridal style and I leaned in we were all laughing god I love these idiots
Dad: hey princess why the fuck are your brothers carrying you
Alex: princess here is too lazy to go see the surprise so I am helping her
Mom: how am I not surprised
We giggled and went out. I looked around and saw it. there was a box on the grass
Me: what's that
Alex: check it out
I went towards the box and opened it and when I did I found a duvet with pictures of us. on one it was Luke and I on our first day to school and on others it was Alex and I when we went ice skating and may others but in the middle was a family picture. I grabbed the duvet and hugged and turned to my brothers. I rushed towards them and hugged me
Me: it's perfect thanks guys
Alex: just remember that no matter what we are brothers and we are a family
Me: I promise
Alex: forever?
Luke: to the moon and back?
Chris: and to infinity and beyond
Me: forever to the moon and back and to infinity and beyond
We hugged again and started to go to the swings and play in the back yard.

*end of flashback*

I opened my eyes to see I was taking a shower and nothing was the same I quickly turned off the shower and went to my house. once I got there I went to my room and saw the duvet I took it off my bed and took it back to Louis place where we were getting ready to go to the funeral. I grabbed one from each my father, mother and my older brothers stuff and headed out
When I got home it was 2:30 and the funeral was at 4. I rushed towards my room and looked at the duvet. I kneeled down and cried again but this time Luke and Chris came in they were wearing a black tux. they kneeled down with me and we intertwined hands and cried
Luke: we promised that day
Chris: no matter what we are brothers
Luke: forever Alex
Chris: forever al
Me: forever Alex
We looked at the duvet where there was a pic of Alex and said goodbye to our brother. it's not like we didn't care of our parents but they weren't as close to us as was Alex although we said good bye to them.

We were at the cemetery where my brother and my parents funeral was going to take place. I had the duvet in my hands and a candle lit up. my brother Luke was holding Alex football. Chris was holding my parents rings everyone including the guys and Tammy were holding something. there were men carrying the caskets while my brothers and I intertwined our hands. when we got to the place we saw three holes in the ground. they placed the caskets and soon the reach started. then they called us. we unfolded the blanket and placed in on the caskets and kissed the caskets
Luke: I never believed I would ever say this but mom dad and Alex I need you guys I need you guys getting mad at me for being horrible student or a horrible person. I miss waking up in the mornings with the smell of freshly made bacon. I miss waking up and noticing Alex was on top of me to annoy me. I miss my father. we need you here and I wish this never happened. my sister has a tattoo that says,"we only apart to meet again" and that's what's going to happen this is just a short break and before we know it we will be together as a family. I promise mom dad and Alex I will care for them I promise
I saw him leave and wipe his tears he helped me stand up and go to the podium
Me: I am not good with this but here it is. Alex I remember that one moment when you guys were hiding something from me and when we went to the backyard you guys held a box and when I opened it I saw the duvet. I also remember what you said. you told us that no matter what we were brothers forever and that's what I am going to say thank you brother for being with me all the way through this journey called life and hank you for letting me be with you while you are going through this journey that's called life. mom I miss your food I miss you calling me lazy arse with your deep Irish accent I need you guys I need you all. I miss you I had you back only to lose you. dad I promise I will always be your baby girl. and mom I promise I will care for Chris and make sure Alex doesn't mess up. *tears rolls down* forever Alex forever
Luke: to the moon and back al
Chris: and to infinity and back.
the caskets were lowering down with the blanket. My brothers had gotten more so it wasn't the only one. we grabbed dirt and threw it at the caskets after that Luke stared at me and nodded with Chris we hugged as tight as we could in front of our brother and parents
Luke: we won't forget you Alex
Chris: mom
Me: dad
We turned around and left home our home. Our child hood home. when we opened the door we looked at the house with blank expressions. god we were lost.
